Haze Lad. Brilliant. Best vid...I wish I was a younger lad like you. Instead I'm an older lad! I've not been well recently. The old issue could be back to haunt me but I'll fight the good fight. I could be better. I need an adventure. Your doing Robins. I'm doing foxes....... This is a fantastic challenge and the only way to do it is solo... If the simple things make you happy your on the right path...:) I hope the Doc says I'm good to go for another adventure. Sandy
Watching people's channels on RUclips has made me do away with normal TV and the largely disputed license. Vids like this are brilliant, it's what I want to watch, not a schedule. Brilliant haze, keep it up x
I was just thinking the other day that there has to be loads more people watching the internet at any given moment than cable tv, right? There’s so much content in YT, add Netflix and what more does a guy need for entertainment.
A Tin of Faith a back pack for adventure a Bright cap & shoes that match , A slick Robert watching over your shoulder & a soul full of memories; here’s to absent friends and leaving no trace 🌿 just another beautiful open space .. another brilliant upload look forward to part 2 ⛺️🏔⛰
Medic! Definitely the funniest bushcrafter on the internet. If you like him, you should check out woodlndbushcraftuk. He’s only got a couple hundred subs at the moment, but he’s also got a similar sense of humor that comes out of nowhere. Love it!
Man, you're an inspiration!! It's so easy to waste time catastrophising and do sod all, but because of you I ended up walking a total of 37 miles around the The Peak District where I live. I've always loved walking and the great outdoors bur got a bit up my own arse recently. Cheers fir the inspiration. I won't be wasting my weekends again. Keep up the great videos mate👍❤️
i have been waiting for this like a kid on christmas eve! done the first third and had a year out, then me mate i went with got cancer and i havennt finished it, yet, mates getting stronger, but not able to hill walk for the foreseeable. got to finish it though, this is what i need to get me on track again.
Outstanding video thank you. In the old days when ever you left a bothy you had to leave the fire ready and prepared. So if someone was in trouble they could light a fire.
Had a great time following along. Thanks for the vid. Over here in Canada food in tent is a no go. Too many predatory animals for it to be safe. We have to eat away from our tent and hang our food from trees away from camp or tie an animal safe sack or barrel to a tree. A bit more work that is. Especially the hang. Nice variety of food. Have you considered dehydrating your own food for trips?
Love the sound of rain on canvas. I live in a caravan with large awning in Tenerife, but it only rains about 4 days of the year and when it rains it is a heavy rain for about half an hour and sounds more like hailstones on a tin roof.
Haze, what a vlog! My wife and I loved this, you totally brought your adventure to our little screen and helped us empty the beer fridge. We watched the full series over the past week :-) Medic!
Crazy timing! I was just in that Glen you were in at 43:20 We were there on the 20th of June, stayed in that bothy too at the end of a four day-er around Loch Morar and Glen Dessary. Flew a drone around that area got some amazing footage, then headed back to the car at Lock Arkaig. Such an incredible area, so beautiful. Great video, close to my heart this stuff.
Great video lad. Gives us natives the chance to see parts of Scotland that we haven't seen. Appreciated the moment of tiredness where you were uplifted by the surroundings. Beautiful indeed. All the best.
Thanks for taking me on holiday with you, hope I didn't slow ya down! Ha. I was quite pleased to see the painted rocks along the way. I am part of a Kindness Rocks Project here in California. Very cool! Really enjoying your adventures, thanks for sharing.
I just like to say that I really enjoy your hiking videos I like how lighthearted and enjoyable your videos are I would just like to say thanks very much for sharing
Great channel and vids. As a Canadian (instead of "wild camping" we call it "backcountry" or "interior" camping) the wildest part of this whole video was you eating and keeping your food in your tent with you!! We have a whole variety of precautions we take for bears to try and keep the smell of the food away from your tent. Usually we do what's called a "bear hang" where you go about 200m away from your camp and hang your food bag up a tree about 4m high to try and prevent a bear from getting at it. Overall super enjoying watching what it's like elsewhere to hike and camp!
I really enjoyed your Coast to Coast vlogs and I’m already loving your Cape Wrath Trail. Many thanks for putting in the miles and for sharing your adventures.
Absolutely love your enthusiasm just recovering from the dreaded word !!! you cheered me up no end and inspired me to get better and back to the great outdoors
Yay!! Good Afternoon Hazey!! It’s Father’s Day over here today.. so happy dads day to you Hon! 😊 Hope you’re having fun with all the busy busy stuff you’re up to lately 😬 looking forward to seeing all your adventures!! ATB 🥰
Thanks Very Much, for nice peaceful , adventure your on Godbless , Robin scenes is Classic, I remember years , Ireland we had crazy snow fall , I was out enjoying snow , this Robin was trying to get out , picked it up made nest , she had few chicks, every year Robin calls by in the garden , the nest is still there for her to Adventure , anyway thanks friend again for awesome video 😊
Lovely to see Scotland as reasonably far into my journey of moving to Scotland from Weston-Super-Mare Weston, already earned all the money for my driving lessons and half the money for my car when I pass so way I've saved when I pass I won't have to save as I would have already saved the money up so when I pass it's just a case of saving to move to Inverness
If I could show my 10 year old son a video on life, this would be it. At first I thought will enjoy a 52 minute video, on a late night watch, YES, YES, YES. I think you've covered all the tribunals of a hike and camp in one. But I'm still looking forward to the rest of this series. Balls deep in fun, but up to you mate.....
This made my day. The plane flyover must have felt amazing, like a gift just for you for your hard work. I love those moments. Can’t wait for part 2 ✌🏻
I'm a wholely ready for 10 more of these videos! What an amazing first two days man. That moment before you had the swim just showing the remoteness of where you were...wow. I felt chills
Rewatching this to try and get myself out of a rut and hiking again after months. I know how much it helps me, just need to get out. Great series Hazey 💪🏼
Mate you`re inspiring so many people to head off out and enjoy the outdoors (safely), good work, peace and love, keep up the momentum mate it`s brilliant!
You put such hard work into your vlogs and they are fabulous, I’m laughing within minutes ‘MEDIC!!!’ Beautiful scenery and just so entertaining as always. Don’t ever stop! Namaste 🙏🏻 x
Class first video mate. Love how you manage to stay so positive all the time. Wet feet is something I can't imagine liking for long distance. Happy fathers day from Northumberland.
Really enjoyed this video, so thanks Haze man. As a Scot, I've covered a lot of the Highlands on my motorcycle but I've never been a keen hiker, so it's a joy to see some of these remote areas off the beaten track. Who knows, when I retire it may be an idea to re-visit your video and try and do at least part of the trail. Had a wee laugh when one of Scotland's major historical landmarks at Glenfinnan was described as "a little monument and stuff". The bonnie Prince will be birlin' in his grave!
I used to take the wee ferry to work every day! I live four miles from it, kind over a few hills from the Trail as it runs up Conaglen. Cracking video of the local area. Fun fact: if you go about half a mile further on the road after the stones at Conaglen House, there’s a dodgem car by the side of the road :)
Man did the same trail a few years ago, hitched the east and hiked North to South... One of the most amazing trails ever, remote AF, gotta love the bothys...'Ppreaciate the video, love your work, keep it up...
Nothing better than being snug in your tent while it's pissing down outside. The worse the weather the more confident I feel about how my tent will handle it.
Been waiting for this series of videos to start and I wasn’t let down. Cracking video and the best 50 odd mins I’ve spent in a long time. Can’t wait for part 2 👏
Love your videos mate and looking forward to part two. Living vicariously through your content right now as it's mid summer in Hong Kong and we're unable to go camping on these 36-degree nights!
OK so I'm not even going to mention the hair this time. Video is simply awesome, feel like I'm right there with you. Can't wait for the next instalment to see what we get up to. Thanks for bringing us all along for the trip. Loving it. 👊
Found your legit Scotland wild camping vids after getting past a few flowery ones. Enjoy your “real feel” approach! Texan planning a backpacking trek in Scotland next spring. Appreciate your channel is seeing what it’s really like to wild camp. Cheers!
Hiya mate, class video as ever, and a proper adventure in the Highlands! Its a cracking, magical place, and you seem to have had a result with the weather (so far). When I was working up that neck of the woods, someone described the viaduct as where they filmed 'Harry Scutter and the Wizards Sleeve which has ruined it for me forever! Thanks for posting bud, all the best, and looking forward to the next one my mate. Nick
Another great video. Reminded me of a three day hike in Snowdonia 30 years ago. Filled my water bottle up, only to find a dead sheep 300 metres upstream, didn't do that again!! Looking forward to the next ones.
Haze Lad. Brilliant. Best vid...I wish I was a younger lad like you. Instead I'm an older lad!

totally agree!
I think its the biggest change in how people watch TV, an its brilliant.
✊
I haven't watched my own TV for two years now, there's loads to watch on RUclips 👍
I could watch you all day everyday. So nice to see someone who is enjoying themselves in nature.
Thanks for the Feedback Antony
Totally agree
Where isn't nature? One has to learn how to read it. People are even nature. Captivating.

Just back from 7 days packing on Arran ...single malt in hand. Trekology pillow was a godsend..👍
Been thinking of doing that myself, I can see Arran from my window, I live in North Ayrshire. Just need to get some proper camping gear though.
