Thank you for this.. I loved the series when it came on tv here in Sweden. My fathers name was Alf and i tought it was so cool that they had the same name. He passed away a few years ago but the both Alfs will always have i big place in my heart.
Thank you ! These videos are so much fun to watch and I love how you put some humor with these videos no matter what your showing Toys or Stuffed Animals! They bring back a lot of memories, and joy! It makes me wish I could go back in time and just play with my toys again. Again thank you for putting in your own time and dedication to making such a great videos. I personal appreciate it greatly from a truly sentimental point of view! Thank-You!
Wow, breaking news on your channel, right on! I didn't know there was going to be an ALF reboot. Thanks for showing this. ALF was a big part of my evenings growing up. I know I had a couple plush toys and a puppet but not these guys. I really like the Care Bears in the background! Thanks!
You're very welcome Michael, I enjoyed doing it! :) These look great, I also prefer the look of the wisecracking ALF. As for reboots, I'm not sure how I feel about a new series. I'll have to wait and see. Happy that Paul Fusco and Tom Patchett appear to be returning for it, but I do hope they'll keep it family-friendly and not turn it into an adult series like that last Muppets series. Loved the video, great work!! I had a big smile on my face and lots of laughs while watching it :D Thank you!!
After our wise-cracking ALF’s voice box had been sitting needing repair for many years, I’ve finally got it back together - leaking batteries corroded contacts and the variable resistor (which you’d tweak as the battery gets low). Luckily the leak only stained some of the fabric inside the back pocket. A little rust on the motor spindle cleaning off with a Dremel brass brush, a copper plate for new +ve contact and cleaned -ve contact, some assorted soldering and he’s back together and looking forward to eyeing up the local cats for size ;p He was sent over from Canada by an aunt in the 80’s - my stepfather’s name was, funnily enough, Alf :) Sadly that Alf is no longer with is, but his smaller namesake will be pleased to sit with us on the sofa occasionally :)
HA! Oh my goodness Michael. This video had me rolling!!! You on the couch with your voice clips. I lost it!! Is it weird after seeing that part that I want my very own Michael Mercy plush doll? Yeah. You're right. It is weird. Strike that last comment from the record. HA! Awesome video as always. Not too long ago you made a video that gave me tears of remembrance, and thankfulness. This time you gave me tears of laughter, and joy. You sure know how to tug on the old heart strings good buddy! I loved watching ALF as a kid. I had to watch it in my room by myself as my parents thought the show was stupid. I enjoyed it immensely nonetheless. Another great childhood memory dug up, and enjoyed still to this day thanks to you Michael. You truly are a magical human being! Hope you and your wife have an amazing weekend, and get to enjoy some Earl Grey together. Nerdmasté my brother. HA! ; )
Another great video! My girlfriend had a plush Alf, but lost it when she moved across country as a kid. We found one at a antique mall, but it was missing an eye. However we bought it anyway. Then at a comic con a few months later we found another one that was complete. So now she has two.
Wow! Many folks may have forgotten Alf, but, I never did. I have a soft spot for the friendly wisecrackin alien. My favorite plush toys to collect, but never did were Alf, Care Bears and my favorites to this day...Pound Puppies. Of the latter I only had the black dog with the redor, or was it blue, tag. Please Michael, do a Pound Puppies vlog! They were awesome. Thank you for this vlog! I laughed a lot and reminisced on beautiful days gone by. God bless my friend! P.S. Remember, Small Wonder? Wow, so many wonderful shows we used to have back then. Nerdmaste!!

Hey Michael, just watched the Alf video. Alf was great. Do you remember the animated Alf cartoon from Saturday mornings back in the day? I think it took place on melmack. You mentioned teddy Ruxpin, my sister had him. He was a big deal back then. There was a teddy Ruxpin action figure line too. My sister had quite a few of them and being a good big brother I played with those with her.
I only have stuffed animal ALF I never even got out of the box because it didn't even look like ALF but the wisecracking alf looks more like him I always wanted electronic one ever since I found out about it a couple years ago i love ALF on my second birthday I had ALF Cake and I still have two of the ALF tale figurines from Wendy's I'm going to say I'm envious of you you got the ALFS I've always wanted
I have the wise cracking Alf and he still talks big fan of the show

Thanks! Super fun making it as well. Now I need to watch some old Alf episodes! :D
Awesome request Hiltwo! I'm thinking this might just be Michael's funniest video to date!!
Thanks Scott! :) I think I laughed the most when the "Michael doll" would start repeating lines :D
Hahaha!!! Me too!! When he said 'Hello Gorgeous' twice in a row I lost it!!
Same :D
Electric motor spray, spray a little bit in the end of the motor while pushing the button. Cleans all the junk off the brushs and rotor
Thanks for the tip!

I enjoy your videos very much. You certainly have a collection to admire, and seem to have found some amazing steals. Keep up the awesome work.

You should consider giving the one with the missing eye an eyepatch (and maybe a goatee). Then you can call him the evil twin Alf.
I had him and all the best toys every cabbage patch doll, man I can go on and on!
OMG, ALF! Lol I loved this show as a teen! So cheesy yet wonderfully 80s! Amazing video and loved your (Hey) Willy impersonation... spot on!
Thanks! As weird as it seems on the surface, it's actually really genuine and has a lot of heart for those who bother to look a little deeper. :D
Never knew they had talking Alf, I’ve got a plush Alf.
Nice review. I remember kids talking about this show on the playground. The concept was so bizarre... a definite product of the time.
Yeah it was very similar to Superman, except instead of being a Earth's biggest hero, he was Earth's biggest deadbeat. :D
I love Alf ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This just made my day
Thanks! :D
I love your Care Bears I wanna Hug them
I have two of these ALFs, but they're the animatronic ones where you insert a cassette tape in the back. The eyebrows, ears and mouth move too

My lovely funny alien,))))))
I think it was because of the TV show Alf, but I was able to stay up a little bit later. And that means a lot when you're a kid! lol
For Storytelling alf Do you need the battery pack for it to turn on
I have it with no battery pack
Yes it needs the battery pack
