At last a Raimondo who can be heard in the sextet. Gabriel Vamvulescu, bravissimo!
Simply wonderful version of this sextet! The principals were all stellar -- special hats off to the bass!
Thanks so much for the post!
WOW! great young singers. I love the Tenor (Edgardo) youthful tone and Lucia's high E at the end of the sextet. Huge!
It is actually a C# at the end of the sextet. And it's a D at the end of the second act finale. Lucia never sings higher that an Eb, unless the mad scene is sung in the original key, in which case the (unwritten) final note would be a high F. But I really do love the high D at the second act's finale. It sounds huge with the chorus and the other soloists there. It sounds even better if the Edgardo sings a D5. The sextet and the second act finale are probably the most amazing things Donizetti ever wrote
Preciosa interpretación del Sexteto de Lucía con los sobreagudos y toda la proeza vocal de los interpretes. Felicitaciones!!!
The choir appears suddenly at the last notes adding enormous strenght and dramatism .
LOVELY
Wow! Such wonderful singing! Especially that blonde baritone! He must be from Kenosha!
This is what opera is all about.
Awesome! Love the Sextet de Lucia
The bass is particularly good, wonderful. The tnor, baritone and the soprano are up there too.
The basso somewhat overwhelmed the soprano. Most soprano's overwhlem everybody but thid one is more balanced.
Great tenor. Fresh, rich voice and much "sentimento. "
Awesome tenor, bravo Mr. Guerrero
Long live the Opera.
Great voices.
¡¡¡ SUBLIME....!!!!EXCELSO...!!!!
That final note is insane!
Listen to Sutherland or Callas then you can hear insane
Bravo !!!!!!!!!
Beautiful balance between the voices! This is so difficult for this sextet. As far as I can hear, the soprano ends with a D flat.
this music makes me wanna fuck shit up...time to go study ahaha
