I think the stars of x factor are often fantastic by singing others artist songs. The thing is to start to write and sign their new songs. They dont have it and I think they are lost once competition is over. Voice is one thing but who will write the new song and lyrics? They are probably not prepared for it.

I remember watching this and thinking he is honestly one of the best singers in the world, with these new style pop singers they don't showcase their voices or ranges (because most don't have any) but Jahméne is one of a kind, an amazing soul and the respect he shows is incredible. I know he has done what he loves, but I can't seem to be upset he never became more mainstream. Jahméne man, go full out, I want to hear your angelic voice all over the radio instead of hearing singers from 50+ years ago because nothing new has came along yet.

This guy has the most range since Mariah Carey and is the best male vocalist of our time!! No one on this show, American Idol or any competition can measure up so it's ridiculous how he did not win.
I agree...but he does have some confidence issues....but his voice control is unmatched. And this from someone who's not particularly fond of his choice of genre. Some of the most notable 'stars' suffer the same issues...but their talent overcomes. It's sad that his didn't. I think we are missing something great.
I mean, when you’re up against James Arthur. Jahmene may be better vocally, but James just has such distinct vocals, when you’ve heard him once you’ll always recognise his voice, any time.

I fell in love with Jahméne at his audition. I am a 74 yr old canadian woman - who was never into poetry but Jahméne has changed all that. Even after all this time I still cry when I hear him sing. Not winning Xfactor was probably a blessing for him - he can be in control of his own destiny. He has the strength to overcome the pitfalls of fame and the music industry. I can hardly wait for his first album and in the meantime I am enjoying this compilation. Thanks .

There's hundreds of performers out there, including the judges, who would pay billions to have his voice. Just imagine this raw talent, this diamond voice, but with olly murs cheeky attitude, or the lead singer from Maroon 5 to name a couple natural born performers who don't have exceptional voices. I hope he gets to do this for a living, I can just close my eyes and hear his voice do its magic!

I absolutely adore him! From the first time I heard his voice, I fell in love with him. I love his sincerity, his humbleness, and just a good kid who loves the Lord. I was so sad when he didn't win the X Factor, because he is just so unbelievably talented. It was also hard for me to watch him get so down on himself, when he made a mistake or he thought he made a mistake or that he was letting people down. I really feel that he should have won. 2021. Beautiful Compilation. Jahmene’s voice is comforting, soulful and his runs are heavenly...like the finest silk..smooth and soothing to the senses.
My favourite show of all was the duet with Nicole - it demonstrates the calibre of performer that Jahmene is in how he handled what could have been a devastating technical failure when Nicole's mic didn't work. THE SHOW MUST GO ON and he just carried on as if there were 2 mics. Brilliant work! I chuckled at the look on Jahmene's face when Nicole threw her mic on the floor. It was priceless! Nothing much phases Jahmene, but that is the reality of live television.

He channels Marvin Gaye everytime he sings. His heart is good, he cares for his fans and people in general and the soulful feeling he exhibits is, well... jah-mazing! Louis hit it exactly right... A star has been born. I just happened to catch a video on youtube and have watched every day since. I was so impressed with the UK X Factor and how it was more concerned with the development of young talent than its US counterpart. Jahmene is a smart guy and will be highly successful. xo

I play it again every so often in awe each time . Wish jahmene would do an American song book album . He would go down with the greatest .

He channels Marvin Gaye everytime he sings. His heart is good, he cares for his fans and people in general and the soulful feeling he exhibits is, well... jah-mazing! Louis hit it exactly right... A star has been born. I just happened to catch a video on youtube and have watched every day since. I was so impressed with the UK X Factor and how it was more concerned with the development of young talent than its US counterpart. Jahmene is a smart guy and will be highly successful. xo
