When I was a much younger man, I’d dance to this and look forward to hearing it no matter what club I’d go to, those were the real good old days. This is a very good rendition and brings back memories, thanks for making an old man happy.
I’m not familiar with these people, but came on to this accidentally! I think this is a very good rendition of an old war horse of a number that every musician played back in the 50s! I’m enjoying being brought despite my 78 years! Many stars to Ray Geloto! I assume he’s the tenor player?
Wow, the GREAT Ray Gelato! My facebook buddy, I'm so pround to say. This is the only song I have yet done in public. I did the 3 "honk" notes at the train whistle part. LOL! Thanks for posting - loved Sam Ventura too!
Hi Ray, we went to see you for the first time at Ronnie Scott's last night. You and the band were fantastic . My dad loved Tony Bennet and you are a bit like him:) but with even more charisma. I would love to hear you playing more sax -it was an absolute pleasure to see you drinking coffee and Little Italy and hear you play. See you next year- hope your son recovers soon form Covid so you can enjoy Christmas- Buono Natale
i have recorded it live in the seventies during a concert in Studio 104 Maison de la Radio featuring ILLINOIS JACKET (tenor sax) § WILD BILL DAVIS (hammond organ) . The version is Volcanic ....Deep Hearted Wild BLUES . I still have the K7 and have to search who was the drummer .
El saxo es un instrumento muy versátil con el que puedes interpretar muchas canciones hermosas. Saludos. ruclips.net/video/BMxggigGtPk/видео.html *PETER GUNN* Song of *Henry Mancini* // Gretsch Guitar cover by *Duane Eddy* Tenor Sax by *Jim Horn*
Best version of this song l have heard. Is there a recording to buy? Does anyone know. I could find the 1952 recording would love to have this. This song is so hot. It would make a nun reconsider.😜😇😘
