THANKS!! My teen son's Yuxin Little Magic 6x6 popped when I stepped on it. After watching this, it took me about 40 min to sort and rebuild. I found it helpful to have someone else grip the first finished corner quarter so I could build the next bridge but after that I managed alone. This was much more satisfying than buying a new one and my son's smile made it all worthwhile.
Spent 2 Hours re-biulding a 7x7 that popped 2 years ago and didn't want to re-biuld it again, this video didnt "help" me that much, it just gave me the courage and energy to re-biuld it and finally i have done it; Thanks.
the exact same thing happened to me when i got yj mgc 6x6 2 years ago, with the only difference, that i didn't get the idea to watch a tutorial, instead i was painstakingly trying to figure out how does the mechanism work so that i can fix it. now it happened again but apparently i am older and wiser.
I once disassembled one of the hopeless Rubik's 5x5, I thought I would be able to improve the turning by adding some lubrication to the internal mechanism. It ended spending about a month disassembled, all parts in a bowl, until I had the actual courage to get it back together. The improvement was really marginal.
I remember my 4x4 cube that I disassembled intentionally to look around inside it.. also I was curious about its poppings and other bad conditions. When I was about to assemble it, yeah pretty hard because of 3 inner-pieces and moving center plate.. it also took so many months disassembled and finally, I had a courage to assemble it again. Never used this again because IDK how to solve it. Same thing happened earlier for the second time. I thought it will be easy but still feels hell. The cause is, only one of the 3 inner-piece is missing. BTW now I can solve it..
You are a lifesaver! I have had my valk 4 disassembled for months because I could not get past the first section. I am currently finished with the second corner section.
Thanks Z3! Very helpful. Had to take apart my new Aosu 4x4 in order to clean each of the pieces because of a grinding feeling that I think was caused by lube clumping together between the outer pieces. Reassembly was difficult, but it was well worth it! Cube works perfectly and smoothly again!
Thank you! My 4x4 popped, like completely, and your tutorial was the first I thought of, it was great. Thank you so much, this is my only decent 4x4. My other is a rubik’s brand...so thanks.
Holy crap thank you so much, my last 7X7 had a piece pop out and I broke it trying to put it back in. My new one came today, and almost immediately I popped one out on accident, I was so worried I’d break it again but now I know how to do it right!!! Thank you!!!
Note that my explanation of each cube in this video builds on the explanation of all previous cubes in the video. If you're just looking to assemble a 4x4 or a 7x7, you'll need to watch the 5x5 section first. If you're just looking to assemble a 6x6, you'll need to watch the entire video up to that point. Also wow, this video sure turned out long (although I guess 7 minutes per cube is reasonable). I hope you at least found the in-depth explanations and demonstrations helpful; I haven't really seen a good general-purpose big cube assembly video on RUclips.
I really really want another qna! its been a while... Also, Thanks! My 6x6 has been disassembled for a while now... Not the speedsolving type Also also, I love your vids! You are so nice easy to understand. You should not be as low as you are on J Perm's Tier List
i've been trying to reassemble my 4x4 for two hours now. I can get the first three bits that go in between the centre bits easily, but when I have to do the other one, the first one just pops out every time.
Thanks. I popped one of the inner middle layer pieces of my 4x4 out and was a bit confused where it should even go. I had kinda hoped never to have to take apart and reassemble any bigger cube, but at least it's back together now.
Just a tip for the 4x4: assemble the 3 first pieces (the big and the 2 tiny pieces) together and squish it in it. When its to difficult to hold the thing toghether
That is possibly the worst advice I have ever heard. If you have a small cube, holding the 3 pieces together can give you a higher risk of exploding your cube than just putting them in one at a time.
Thanks had a total pop up literally every piece of my 5x5 fell off, had to glue the core also, and some pieces came apart in three 😂😂😂 thanks so much I have my cube back thanks to your video
Really nice vid on reassembling cubes that are big, 4x4 is way more difficult to do than the 5x5 because the core center piece base is solid unlike the 4x4 core center which moves up and down which is a struggle when putting edge sections between the centers.
a trick you can use for putting back together is that if you're going for speed instead of to have it solved completely is that on even cubes make sure the corners are aligned and then on odds make sure corners and center edges are correctly put in like a normal 3x3. all the centers and other edge pieces don't matter.
Thank you so much! I have been trying to put my 4x4 back together for a long time. I knew about your video but I thought it was gonna be hard like the other ones. Then I watched it and it was amazing. Thank you again and I love your channel
I enjoy taking apart my new cubes when I get them to see how they work, and if I can reassemble them. I recently got a 7x7 and I've been worried I might not be able to get it back together, but I'll watch this and see how it goes!
Thanks. Used this to fix my 9x9x9 after a piece had popped out. To be honest it doesn't quite look right or feel right, and I think it'll probably fall apart at some point, but at least if it does I'll know what to do!
Thank you for this video i spent three hours assembling my magnetic 6x6 and it was hell cause it was lubed up and the center parts kept falling out of my hand.
Suggestions for odd layer cubes you can put it scrambled but middle edges and corners placed correctly relative to their centres . For even layer you can put white corners one way and yellow other way so that cube is solvable
i already knew how to assemble my 5x5 and stuff, but dang my 5x5 come apart quickly. all i need to do is pull on a corner and a wing and it mostly just falls apart from there. i was impressed when i saw your 5x5 core. I use some kind of mgc 5x5 from amazon, and compared the my other YJ mgc cubes, it feels... different.
I learned this from J Perm on even layer cubes put it together so that all of the corners are opposite ex: all the white corners facing one way and all the yellow corners facing the other way on odd layer cubes do the same thing with the corners but do it with the middle edges too
Where were you a week ago? I kind of needed exactly this. Still managed after a couple of hours but it was brutal .... my 4x4 kind of exploded on me and it's exactly the model you use.

When assembling a big cube is harder than actually solving it
It’s been 1h 20mins and my 5x5 is still not built
😂lol
true
It’s been a few months now and my 21x21 is still not built
Update: only a quarter of it has been built
Thank you so much. I just got the YJ MGC m 6x6, and it popped internally and externally, and you tutorial was the only one that actually worked.
the exact same thing happened to me when i got yj mgc 6x6 2 years ago, with the only difference, that i didn't get the idea to watch a tutorial, instead i was painstakingly trying to figure out how does the mechanism work so that i can fix it. now it happened again but apparently i am older and wiser.
How did it pop internally😂😂😂
6x6 can pop internally because it wants to ig
me: the way to take apart the 4x4 is loosen the tensions and then start doing oll parity really fast and wait till it explodes.
