The king is just so untrustworthy of this Prince, so expertly expressed by Jang Hyuk that it makes me bewildered even though I know it's a drama.

I started My Country because of my boy WDH but Seon-ho and Hwi turned out to be such bland characters. But Yi Bang-won absolutely owned this series. Jang Hyuk created an incredibly dark, ambitious, curel character but you couldn't help but hope that he would win. Seon-ho spent all his time feeling sorry for himself over all the mess he created, Hwi wasted his life on misguided loyalty trying to save Seon-ho who betrayed him and Yeon over and over. But Bang-won, he knew what he wanted and stopped at nothing to get it. Yi Bang-won was the closest thing to a true friend Hwi had, not Seon-ho. Thank you Jang Hyuk.
