I like the scriptwriters. They are doing things differently. At 14:28 Ai talks of how he dreams of Nhai. He describes his dream to Nhai, even though Nhai is sleeping. Usually they would have just shown a dream scene. Ai talking to Nhai is sweet, coz in a way he is telling Nhai of his feelings.
And Ai talking to a sleeping Nhai; i feel like he was doing it as an outlet for his feelings. I think he really wanted to tell Nhai how he feels about him, But was not ready for Nhai possibly rejecting him thereby possibly ending their friendship too.
