Love how Thai BLs have begun to show more culture, scenery and the everyday life of its people, with stories set in day-to-day settings. Of course I understand there is a certain degree of exaggeration/simplification in dramas, but I really appreciate it.
Haha me. I ltierally was asking my BL-Colleague why they don't show us more of Temple going or use Buddhistic or Thailand lore as inspirations (sure they did wo us knowing here and there, I suppose). Now, for example couplde days ago I read that in "Thailand culture it is IMPOLITE to ask a Teacher in school if you didn't understand something in the subject they taught." Now my (spoilt) Western European Brain is like a) Is that true ? a.1) Or is it kinda going away with more influence and orientation on western socities and education systems and if so ohye lol so on so son so on always nice to read one is not alone with a thought process like this.
NO BC FRRRRR. I'm actually surprised by the Chinese culture (Teochewnese and Hainanese to be precise) and representation that were shown in this drama! It reminds me of ITSAY, with classic Chinese roots!
Same, it’s so cool to get more a glimpse into the culture, even when it’s just the little things. I have tried to learn Thai in the past but struggled a lot. However, watching Thai shows is helping to make me confident enough to start learning the language again ☺️

After watching this show twice, I have to say it is one of the best shows ever, not just among bl series but of any show. It is definitely worth a watch. It is about love, life, moving on, taking risks, hardships and building walls to protect yourself. There are no villains, just people trying to live their life as best as they can, trying to heal or open their hearts, being part of a community, taking care of one another. The showcan be so dreamy at times, yet it's so realistic, I really love it. Amazing!
It was love at first sight for Mix's character. I love the way this series is shot and edited. Specially the color grading it gives of that dreamy vibe. The whole scene when they were walking was so beautiful. The way soft light was hitting there faces. They gentle touchs , the eye contact. Huhhh i am already in love.

Best opener to a series I've ever watched. I fell in love within the first 6 minutes. The mood, the lighting, the scenery, the pacing, the set up, and of course, the chemistry between EarthMix 🥺 I adored the whole thing from start to end, was only sad it's so short 🙏 It's my first EarthMix series and I need to binge watch everything else they've ever done immediately!

Not sure if you need recommendations or have already binged everything EarthMix lol, but I just wanted to say their first two shows: A Tale of a 1000 Stars and Cupid's Last Wish were already wonderful in plot, acting, chemistry, everything, so they are definitely worth watching. But I feel like Moonlight Chicken is definitely their best and most mature work and this whole show is simply stunning

The main plot is actually about crime, fighting social injustice, corruption, a group of guys engaged in extreme activism. It's a really great show that just happens to have gay characters. One of the supporting actors is First who plays Alan in Moonlight Chicken. It's free to watch on gmmtv youtube channel

Earth as Jim and Mix as Wen are so perfect! The sexual tension on those stares and hand brushes. And the love scene is actually so beautiful, emotional, and artistically satisfying. When Jim woke Wen up and they both gazed at one another, it felt like I'm re-watching an old love story. A timeless romance. Different, but hits such a familiar tone. P'Aof is going to hit this one out of the park, I'm sure of it 💯

Your Nose can look slimmer and longer if you lost weight and the other way around if you gain. He just look better day by day because he's an actor with stylist and so unlike before ATOTS Era when he is just starting.

I'm 16 minutes in and I already know my director and his crew will not disappoint. Hand clap to post production because they delivered the cream and cherry on this beautiful feast for the eyes. The trailer gave me high expectations and I'm looking forward to this story coming to life fully.

I love that the theme song is probably Taiwan's most famous song - The Moon represents My Heart. I am a Taiwan addict, so I am already determined to love this. In some Asian cultures, "The moon is beautiful tonight" means I love you. Every time I hear it I squeal.
Nothing can go wrong if you have such powerhouses there in the acting role ....and P'Aof directing them... GMMTV at its best...waited for this for almost 8-10 months...and finally started it off after the premiere of the final episode.. So excited...
The cinematography, the camera directing, the soundscore and the editing!! Only 4 minutes in and I already know that this is going to be one of the greatest series gmmtv has ever produced. Kudos to the Director, P'Aof he had done it once again 👏👏 Edited: O_o EarthMix gave me goosebumps
amazed by how earthmix act and their chemistry.. like almost half of their scenes are scenes without dialog, but they deliver their chemistry, the mood, they communicate with their eyes and their body language only.. idk maybe its bcs their amazing skill of act or its just their real chemistry alr overflowed the series or its the combination of both.
Not me feeling all happy to finally see my baby Fourth in another series. I started this one late since I am a nursing student and my duty is stopping me from watching, but now that I had finished it all I can finally get to see this masterpiece. Earth and Mix never disappoint as always. Excited to see First and Khaotung here and my babies Gem and Fourth.
Wow. I actually put off watching this show to wait for more Eps to come out but... everything is perfection. The setting, colors, music and not to mention that EarthMix chemistry is, as usual, palpable. 🥰

This one is going to be a benchmark like A Tale of 1000 Stars. Earth Mix have the best chemistry in GMMTV at this moment along with First and Khaotung. They have brought on the heavy weight actors for this one. I have clicked on the like button even before the episode starts. The cinematography....just look at the color saturation in the scenes when they are roaming in the street. All I have to say is thank you, GMMTV.

i'm really impressed with how this was beautifully shot so far, from the long take at the beginning to the little cuts of life in the thai-chinese community. (i wonder how many times they had to shoot the first scene because it felt flawless!!)

Earth as Jim and Mix as Wen are so perfect! The sexual tension on those stares and hand brushes. And the love scene is actually so beautiful, emotional, and artistically satisfying. It is not over done ✅

Your Nose can look slimmer and longer if you lost weight and the other way around if you gain. He just look better day by day because he's an actor with stylist and so unlike before ATOTS Era when he is just starting.

I'm 16 minutes in and I already know my director and his crew will not disappoint. Hand clap to post production because they delivered the cream and cherry on this beautiful feast for the eyes. The trailer gave me high expectations and I'm looking forward to this story coming to life fully.

amazed by how earthmix act and their chemistry.. like almost half of their scenes are scenes without dialog, but they deliver their chemistry, the mood, they communicate with their eyes and their body language only.. idk maybe its bcs their amazing skill of act or its just their real chemistry alr overflowed the series or its the combination of both.
Not me feeling all happy to finally see my baby Fourth in another series. I started this one late since I am a nursing student and my duty is stopping me from watching, but now that I had finished it all I can finally get to see this masterpiece. Earth and Mix never disappoint as always. Excited to see First and Khaotung here and my babies Gem and Fourth.

This one is going to be a benchmark like A Tale of 1000 Stars. Earth Mix have the best chemistry in GMMTV at this moment along with First and Khaotung. They have brought on the heavy weight actors for this one. I have clicked on the like button even before the episode starts. The cinematography....just look at the color saturation in the scenes when they are roaming in the street. All I have to say is thank you, GMMTV.

I'm so glad this started off right away with strong chemistry and them acting on it lilt grown adults would do. Very nice to see a bl with characters that don't play coy for 10 episodes before they finally have one little kiss. Looking forward to more from this show.
