Im looking to sell promissory notes that will repay double within 5 years to found the school for advancement of liberty and truth that is secured by a whistleblower claim estimated to be worth 11 and 22 million dollars. I was initially thinking about issuing $10,000 notes. How do I find investors that are looking for a set return on investment in a short period of time as opposed to those who are looking for a long-term stake in a company through their investment?

Greg, would you, as a start-up owner, invest in your IP before reaching out for investment? I am sitting, worrying about something being poached from me, but i think that is creating some paralysis-by-analysis.
I would generally start and not worry too much about IP until I had some market validation. I feel it's usually more valuable to iterate quickly on the product and then patent the V2 or V3 that has elements that are non-obvious.

The Moroccan ecosystem is improving so angel investors outside Morocco are now willing to invest. Good luck
Investing at an angle is tough enough. . In a foreign country, that investment angle can get pretty steep.
