It varies, but i get what you mean. Pretty fitting considering mods like Gunman Chronicles, They Hunger or Afraid of Monsters and many others are a hallmark of the whole scene from which some of them ( Gunman in question ) turned into full fledged titles. There are tons tho, it is cool to see the modding scene still going hard, even if it sometimes feels a bit lackluster, it's still someone having fun with the GoldSrc engine after all.
I’ve played both of these mods and the other mod by this guy, Medieval World. They are not very good at all, especially Medieval World which has a very confusing and boring final boss level. However, the model work in these mods is very good, especially the NPCs and some of the weapon reskins are good too. The Gateway 2 is the best mod out of all of them and was fairly enjoyable.

Unfortunately their mods have problems opening, they stay loading or sometimes you cannot access other maps, corrections must be made
