Same here. And the best part is that it's possible and has already been set up. In episode 51 of PPGZ, the girls are traveling through time and something causes them to end up in the main PPG universe for a short time and they see a battle going between the og PPG and a yellow Giant Fish Balloon. The clip is on RUclips titled "Powerpuff Girls Z and original Powerpuff Girls Crossover"

I will talk about them again, but I have made a full video on the first few episodes so definitely check my channel for that. And yeah it would be great to see Craig bring some of these characters back
I would love to see that! I’ve made another video trying to get people to campaign for it but it didn’t work unfortunately but who knows maybe they’ll appear anyways
i am also super interested in learning more about the powerpunk girls. like, i wish this comic was longer. it’s kind of a short comic (ive read it online. i don’t own this copy). i wish it explained a lot more of the background behind the characters and their universe and everything like that. i’m interested in learning about what their lives and relationships in vilesville (that’s what it’s called, right?) are like. if this became an episode, it would probably be a full 22 minute episode (as opposed to an 11 minute segment). or maybe it would have even been a 44 minute special or something like that
I'm glad to see this video, because I always wondered where the powerpunk girls came from in the fandom. I do hope that the powerpunk girls will someday get their first episode someday to explore their universe
Last time I checked each episode I see the girls do have a strong connection and loving bond with the professor like a father and 3 daughters should. what are you talking about?
Whoooooo man! Ever since I got into the fandom and learned about these girls and realized they were canon (in the comics) I love these girls just as much as the real PPGs
I thought they were a fanmade multiverse that got so popular they're turned into a comic, not that it was a actual comic that got popular, that's so cool
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who knows the deep facts which happens to be the 50th comic issue was meant to be an episode that was unfortunately canceled due to budget cuts!
I'm still amazed they're canon For years I thought they were something made by fans, nope, they're very canon and my first memories of them are watching AMVs on youtube
Huh, i didn't know they were real... I had seen them a long, long time ago when i was younger. I now wish they had shown up in the series so we would have an all-out war between the Power Puff Girls Power Punk Girls and Rowdy Ruff Boys.
If you told me at 7 there were a cancelled episode of powerpunk girls when I was deep in my baby artist ppg Fan Phase, I would’ve fallen to my knees in TEARS
I remember there was even a PPG fangame that included edgy evil counterparts of the girls but they were someone's fan characters. Not the Powerpunk Girls. I think the buttercup version was named "Blast" or something like that.
I hope the new series uses some of the source material from the comics, there's so much they could adapt that I think would translate perfectly into animation 🤩

I saw the Power Punk Girls on google way back in 2005 and I couldnt find much about it at the time other than it was a comic. I did often wonder if it was a episode I hadnt seen... ALSO there was a comic where the normal PPG adopted a sister called 'Bluebell' who dies of an illness at the end of the comic. I've never been able to find that since 05' and there was a lost pilot of the PPG shown only on Boomerang in around 2000. It was like a PPG rip off but I've never been able to find that either!!!!
I mean, I could see why they didn't make it to an actual episode cause, like we already have the whole evil version of the girls with the rowdyruff boys it would definitely be kind of strange to have essentially two groups of evil powerpuff girls running around
A part of me really wants to see the Powepunk Gurls episode after reading this comic digitally. And wouldn't it be cool if their evil counterpart meet and humiliates the Rowdyruff Boys, and they reluctantly decide to turned to the Powerpuff girls for help? That would be supper dope if you ask me!

Talk about the PPgz anime please it would be nice
Fun fact Craig who is working on the current reboot he involved in stated nothing is out of the question so who knows 👀👀
I will talk about them again, but I have made a full video on the first few episodes so definitely check my channel for that. And yeah it would be great to see Craig bring some of these characters back
I had no idea these guys existed until now, they're pretty cool. When The PowerPuff Girls get a new series they need to make a appearance
I would love to see that! I’ve made another video trying to get people to campaign for it but it didn’t work unfortunately but who knows maybe they’ll appear anyways
Once again, the day is saved thanks to the powerpuff grill
Lmaoooo they have to make that a thing
i am also super interested in learning more about the powerpunk girls. like, i wish this comic was longer. it’s kind of a short comic (ive read it online. i don’t own this copy). i wish it explained a lot more of the background behind the characters and their universe and everything like that. i’m interested in learning about what their lives and relationships in vilesville (that’s what it’s called, right?) are like. if this became an episode, it would probably be a full 22 minute episode (as opposed to an 11 minute segment). or maybe it would have even been a 44 minute special or something like that
So many people want to see this, hopefully we get it one day!!
They should have made this a animated tv special on cartoon network
That would have been really cool but after the movie failed cartoon network turned it down:(
I'm glad to see this video, because I always wondered where the powerpunk girls came from in the fandom. I do hope that the powerpunk girls will someday get their first episode someday to explore their universe
I want to campaign for Craig to put them in his new series, that would be really cool! I appreciate your comment
“It’s the powerpuff girls! we’e saved!”
“well not saved more like under new management”
Last time I checked each episode I see the girls do have a strong connection and loving bond with the professor like a father and 3 daughters should. what are you talking about?
Yeah our original girls do but the power punks don’t. I’d be really interested to see what their relationship with their professor is like.
Whoooooo man! Ever since I got into the fandom and learned about these girls and realized they were canon (in the comics) I love these girls just as much as the real PPGs
I LOVE THEM TOOO THEIR SO COOL!!!!
0:05 - 0:15 I always thought Buttercup is physically the strongest since she's the tomboy of the group
She’s the toughest for sure but no special powers
@@Childishjubut Buttercup is a math genius than Blossom and fastest of all
Takes me back to all the tribute videos of them I watched in the early 2010s.
lol people should start doing those again
I remember this from my childhood, i never read the book but i was absolutely OBSESSED with the powerpunk girls
Sucks they were only shown once:/ hopefully we get to them again one day
So this is the comic that inspired people who read it to make all tributes about them
Apparently lmaoo
I thought they were a fanmade multiverse that got so popular they're turned into a comic, not that it was a actual comic that got popular, that's so cool
Right? I made a second video on them with the hopes of getting the episode made finally, it’d be really cool to see
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who knows the deep facts which happens to be the 50th comic issue was meant to be an episode that was unfortunately canceled due to budget cuts!
Yep, I really hope one day we do actually get to see that happen. Maybe we’ll see it in the reboot :)
Can’t believe Buttercup legit calls Spanish “South of the Border rodent speech” and the show just keeps on rolling.
Lmaooooo she's so quirky *racist*
Why did the portal open in the mirror after Bubbles was done cleaning it? Was that ever explained?
It was never really explained, just goofy Powerpuff shinanigans lol
I use to draw the power puff girls a lot as a kid, and the powepunk girls were no different. I really like their designs.
i wonder what the gangreen gang would look like in the alternate reality where powerpunk girls exist
@@kittyxred727 I would love to see that
I'm still amazed they're canon
For years I thought they were something made by fans, nope, they're very canon and my first memories of them are watching AMVs on youtube
So many people have deep memories with these girls despite them never being in an episode, I find that so fascinating and cool
"South of the border rodent speech" 💀💀💀 what in the Speedy Gonzales
Buttercup don’t hold back lol
Huh, i didn't know they were real...
I had seen them a long, long time ago when i was younger. I now wish they had shown up in the series so we would have an all-out war between the Power Puff Girls Power Punk Girls and Rowdy Ruff Boys.
so it wasn't fan made this i wish this was a episode about PowerPunk Girls
Yeah I thought it was some fake fan idea at first too, but it’s real. And I really hope Craig brings them back for the new series
@@Childishju me too
If you told me at 7 there were a cancelled episode of powerpunk girls when I was deep in my baby artist ppg Fan Phase, I would’ve fallen to my knees in TEARS
Aww lmao I hope Craig sees how much people want to see this and decide to finally make the episode l
I remember there was even a PPG fangame that included edgy evil counterparts of the girls but they were someone's fan characters. Not the Powerpunk Girls. I think the buttercup version was named "Blast" or something like that.
I’ve never played it but that sounds cool. If you ever find the name, send it to me!
@@Childishju it was a fanmade fighting game that was in 3D. If only I can remember that game.
I hope the new series uses some of the source material from the comics, there's so much they could adapt that I think would translate perfectly into animation 🤩
That would be so cool to see, there’s so much untapped potential there
I wish this would have become a real episode or special. It probably would have raised the popularity of the show.
Oppressor Utonium that gave me a chuckle. That was clever 😂
Lmao the perfect name
so its been 12 years and i just now find out in 2024 that their canon and not a fan thing
Lmaooo it’s crazy the network didn’t do anything with them considering their popularity
wow that was a nice story that was a missed opportunity for a great episode series
Right, it would have been so cool to see it animated. Maybe one day
Why wasn't it released?? IT HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL 😢
I’m making a video on why it didn’t release and how we can get it to release that should be out Saturday!
@@Childishju oh ok can't wait to see it
I have a question who are the PowerPunk Girls? I have never heard of these characters
They appear in the comics
Well I did
They are an alternative dimension’s version of the Powerpuff girls who are evil in their universe
it was real all along? I almost didn't click this video
Lmaoo yeah no click bait here, they’ve been real all along lol. I guess all the fanart and fan fiction led people to believe they were made up
You know, i wish the Powerpunk Girls to make their appearance in the Powerpuff Girls season 7. I must cross my finger if they can do it. 🤞
I’m really hoping Craig does it, it could be so coool!!
Well we can still create a petition for signing for the powerpunk girl's to be in the show.
I tried to rally people behind the idea but no one really joined. I’ll make a petition and post it to reddit
@@Childishju k
@@Childishju did it work.
@@stephenmcbeancummings7091 I made it and posted it into the Powerpuff subreddit but surprisingly got a lot of negative comments. People got upset and thought that I was trying to force Craig to do something, so I just took it down and left it alone. Maybe the world just isn’t ready yet:(
I wish we had gotten their episode so bad, i love them so much 😭
Rightt, their such cool little brats
That was a really good mojo, JoJo Jomo, Momo voice
Thanks so much lol, I think this is the first compliment I’ve Received about it:)
This takes me back to my early youtube days watching those powerpoint stories
I miss when everyone just made PowerPoint presentations for peoples entertainment on RUclips
Maybe Princess is a good person in the alternate world?
I would have loved to see that
Ironically there’s a song from the official ppg ost called the power punk girls
I didn’t know that, wow I should have used that lol
Can u plz link the song in the background. I heard this song when i was a kid back in the day and recorded it on a vhs tape and could never remember what it was after i lost the vhs tape
The first song is go, monkey, go by devo and the second song is “fight the power”. I’ll make sure to link to songs I use from now on!
ruclips.net/video/VkS-xwRNvTs/видео.htmlfeature=shared
@Childishju thank u so much😊 I remeber being obsessed with it when I was a kid lol
I wonder who would win in a fight, these PowerPunk Girls or the RowdyRuff Boys
That fight would destroy the planet lmaoo
That means the rowdyruff boys in that mirror would have been the RowdyRobust Boys
Lmaooo maybe so
So this is kind of like the Darkwing Duck enters Negaduck's alternate universe.
Pretty much, that’s a good comparison
It's too bad it never made it into the show. 😢
Yeah I really wish they did
I used to think it was fanmade, but I never knew it was canon until a few years ago.
I just learned about a month ago, they’re really fun characters
I would've loved to hear the portrayals of the Powepunk Girls from Catherine Cavadini, Tara Strong, and E.G. Daily.
That would have been so cool! Tara strong is gonna be at the convention in the summer so maybe I’ll ask her about it
@Childishju Oh cool!
Something the fans will enjoy
Absolutely:)
I DID NOT KNOW THAT WAS ORIGINAL OMG I REMEMBER I MADE A FANART OF BRAT SHE WAS MY FAVOURITE
I didn’t either but it’s really cool that they’re actually canon! I hope Craig includes them in the Powerpuff revival, and brat was my favorite too:)
If I can find that comic then it’ll definitely get a video one day, thanks for informing me!
I mean, I could see why they didn't make it to an actual episode cause, like we already have the whole evil version of the girls with the rowdyruff boys it would definitely be kind of strange to have essentially two groups of evil powerpuff girls running around
I had no idea about this ,thank u for this video
No problem!! I’m glad to help:)
where is the song at 6:16 from?
THEY’RE CANON?!?!? MY LIFE WAS A LIE?!?!
THIS WAS GONNA BE AN EPISODE?!?! 😭😭😭😭
YESSS, I STILL NEED IT!!!!
So, it's like dealing with three evil/edgier Buttercups?
Uhhhhh, yes. I guess that’s exactly what that would be lol
@@a.jthomas6132 I would love to see that take place
This whole time like many other people I thought they were some edgy OC’s made by a fan, but honestly I have no complaints XD
My mind would have been freakin’ blown if I saw this as an episode as a kid!!!
That would have been so fun to see
I love ppg and this concept, but I hate seeing punks always be villains in media. In my experience, one of the nicest, most open communities around. Constantly get bashed cause of lyrical content and the way they're perceived. Regardless, it'd still be awesome to see this concept get revived.
Punks are really sweet people, this comic is a little bit old but I doubt they meant it in a negative way towards punk people. I think they just called them power punks because they both started with a p. But punks are cool people, and the power puff girls are too:)
their outfits go so hard tho
These girls too tuff
