The 19th overall victory at the 24h of Le Mans makes us proud beyond words.
I saw the last 4 hours of the race, and it's miraculous how did Porsche recover their lead, it honestly made my eyes water, what a win Porsche, what a win!

1# 919 breakdown in last 3 hours really shocked me.
I thought this year LMP2 will get champion,thankfully 2# 919 catch up.
It would have been great though! A LMP2 that wins Le mans. It was a great, great race! Sad for Tayota but they will win this some time :) They should also not give up.

Sammy I was there, what a race! If you are a motorsport enthusiast you MUST go to Le Mans and see the race. since I was a child I'm a porsche fanatic and my dream is to be part of the Porsche team when I will take my engineering degree, so you can imagine what I was feeling during the race and when Porsche won. Le Mans teaches you how hard these guys work and how tough this race is!

Porsche performed the best during the 24 hours. The No.2 car literally never gave up. The team in the pits did everything to keep the 919 going, amazing effort. I love Porsche. Porsche is just the best. You can't argue with that

Great video, but it would be nice if the video had explained the context a bit more. The Winning Porsche in 2017 was at one point something like *200 miles* behind the leader, sat in the pits broken down and going no where. They came back in the race so so far behind by rights it should have just been an extended test run session for them.
People will say they won because others dropped out. That's not true. From the moment they got back on the track, they lapped that Porsche on flat out pace right through saturday evening, through the night, through the following morning..even though at that point there was not the remotest chance of winning. They snatched the lead with an hour to go and they would *not* have done so if they had just swanned round on half pace for all that time when victory seemed impossible.
As someone who was rooting for Toyota, and almost turned the race off after the last one retired from the race, I still cheered for Porsche to take 1st place over all and have that trophy with them again.
I'm a Porsche guy whatever they make is good for me. I saw a lambo next to a Camry, and the first thing that came to mind was the fucking toyota is a waaaaay better value. Probably just buy a lambo for marketing promotion, put badass stickers on it.

What a sick race. I would have never thought that the Porsche#2 could still win, after it was in the box for about 1 hour. It basically won the 24h of Le Mans in 23 hours

Thank you Le Mans and ACO - came from Australia to watch the race (2017). From Thursday to Sunday night only 2.5 hours sleep. I didn't travel there to sleep! Watched every second of the race. Looking forward to returning. Thank you Le Mans - wonderful place, wonderful people, the greatest race!

Great job. Congratulations to all responsible. Porsche 19th Le Mans victory made me very happy and proud too. Why proud? Well, because I don’t know how I would take if Toyota ever win Le Mans. (I don't think this will ever happen, but last year they were close, so please don’t let me have a heart attack.) I found disrespectful that they even attend Le Mans. I remember Nissan with some kids a few years ago who played video games were driving their cars and hopping to win Le Mans (?!) LOL. You do not chose to win Le Mans, Le Mans chose you. No offense to Nissan and Toyota!

My opinion; Porsche's departure from WEC is thanks to the ACO releasing 2020 rules in 2017, who would spend millions and millions of Euro on a program that is outdated before it hits the tracks, wow, congratulations to ACO! :(
On a more positive note; thank you so much Porsche for all the fantastic battles with Audi and Toyota, I will always be one of your fans!
