Man I love the breakdown on “Touring Performance Bagger”. Love going over your set up and “why” for each item. Great video much needed! Wish Rusty had a public shop I could just turn him loose on my bike!
The bushings in the handlebars close to the hands is brilliant. By moving it closer to the force applied by your hands you have taken the leverage off the bushings almost completely. Love seeing innovative new things like these Tbars.
As much as I love thrashin I love the design of your bars. Thank you for all you do helping my brother and sisters in need. I know you get it everyday but us veterans can’t thank you enough. You and Gary sinise are held high in my book. I met him in Iraq maybe one day I’ll get to meet you 🤙 be safe out there Adam !
@@adamsandoval I appreciate it but I have a 24 RG 😎 best of luck to all entries though. I’ll be more active on the road next year as far as cross country . in Oregon and I plan on sturgis 🤙
Great info. Rode with the Convoy on my 17 Limited with S&S cam kit, Vance and Hines pipe, Thundermax tuner along with all the rest of the goodies. Also running the Legend Revo Arc that works great for stability in the corners and great comfort even loaded with both of us and all the road trip gear. Has made for a great touring performance bagger.
Hope the convoy is going well, looking forward to some updates on the trip. Also, those ciro lights are slick, unfortunately they told me they will never make parts for the Pan America. Such a bummer!
I noticed Adam this convoy trip you wearing a modular helmet. I like mine on long trips so I don't stop to get a drink or just want more air. Great info video
I noticed those bars in an earlier video and you responded they are adjustable. That’s a cool setup. At first I thought it was maybe an Arlen Ness type bar.
Coming from the sport bike world I started setting up my 2017 Road King as a performance bagger right away. Not long after King of the Baggers came out. I go to the Laguna Seca round. I took my bike on the track the 1st year. Dropping into the cork screw was bad ass !
Probably one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while. I’d love to know how much in total after stock $$$ you have in that bike. Also curious if you couldn’t have saved some money by just going with a CVO ST?
Wow! Thats a good question… I honestly don’t know because all the components are separate. I like building up this way, rather than just going CVO though because then it’s tailored for me and my preferences 🤷🏼♂️
Want to or get to? Building them is half the fun🤷🏼♂️ My biggest complaint with many brands is “limited after market options”. It’s one the things we love about H-D.
You do not have to spend that money Changing everything on a new Harley. People do that because they want to, they do not have to. I have a 2006 ultra classic with 126000 miles on it. I run the stock windshield, handlebars and suspancient. The stock seat was great until it was wore out and I Replaced it with a Mustang seat. There's nothing wrong with spending a fortune on your new Harley. If that's what you want to do, but don't blame Harley for that, because you wanted to do something with a bike that it was not intended to do.
Nice setup. What happened to the last run with the convoy? Didn't see any for a couple of days? I saw that you guys made it to Milwaukee . Good luck to those expecting to win a new ride!
… and they all look the same. Which is something us Harley riders don’t like. Almost every Harley rider does some sort of customization to their bike to make it their own.
@@adamsandoval I’m 5’9 and I have the stock bars rolled back some in my clamps to help prop me against my backrest and I’m having a difficult time deciding on which rise to get. It appears you’re fairly tall, would you have any suggestions?
I'm looking to change my handlebar because the stock is a little bit wide for me, and I like the adjustability it offers, what is the width of this handlebar?
@adamsandoval Hi adam I did not find any details about width, I understand it's depends on how you adjust it, but can you tell how wide is the handlebar on your bike in your configuration
I have so many people writing in asking me about this build, that instead of answering hundreds of emails, I can share the info here. Sorry if it came across that way 👊🏼😎

Sweet set up Adam. I’m enjoying watching the convoy! Y’all be safe!
Thanks for tuning in 👊🏼
Great comprehensive video on your build. I really got a lot out of the t-bar build!!
Great to hear!
Super nice set up on the glide. Safe travels on the convoy
Dude totally appreciate the break down of all the upgrades. Love it!!!
Thanks for tuning in 👊🏼
Nice upgrades! I love the adjustability of those bars!!
They’ve been such a game changer 💯 I’ve had to change bars multiple times and still never found complete neck and shoulder pain relief
nice build Adam!!! Enjoy your ride
Love the bars, I had a set of Ness bars that worked just like yours with the bolts for adjustment and they were awesome.
Love your video's 😎👍
Thanks 👊🏼😎
Love the Cardo. Didn't use a helmet before I got it.

Doing my swingarm bushings next then front fork rebuild at 50k miles, thanks for aheads up on what works, managing heat was real big for me too!
Nice! Glad to help
Love these "little" interviews that you do

The modular has definitely been convenient for getting hydrated on the go 💯

They’re adjustable in multiple ways which makes for an exactly perfect fit

Low Rider St is the ultimate tourer. Just set up your luggage situation. You have fun and function.
Thanks!
like the setup, got a 2019 road King looking at maybe doing a new road glide. major back issues so comfort is king!
Man if you like it I’m in. 👍🏻😉
Nice job on the bike Adam. Are you releasing your seat for that model ? That would top it of nicely 👍🏻🇦🇺
That’s something we are still working out
Awesome build!!! Not to much, yet just enough. Did you upgrade cam plate and oil pump? I would really some D&D exhaust myself. Lol.

Hey Adam, what height are your risers on your Sandoval bar set up?
Mine are 14.5, including bars
It’s pretty bad that you have to pay over $35000. for a new bike than put another minimum $5000. into for performance an handling

I'll say it again, Harley Davidson is a marketing company , not a motorcycle company. Their brain washing techniques are pure genius.
👍🤩✌️
Man, I want the DnD pipe. I'm running a fuelmoto rtx 2/1 now and love that though... real world problems
Maintenance is key I have almost 74k getting ready for a road trip just completed a service prior
Safe travels 👊🏼
Hey Adam !! What brand sissy bar is that ??
Just a no name brand I picked up off Amazon

Coming soon!
I was worried for a moment. I'm happy everyone and everything is good.
Sports Touring. It's a category and my BMW K1600 is the King. And the 'extras' only include driving it off the showroom floor.
@zinzanman Nailed it !😎

I agree. Sport touring and performance touring are two very different things.
Love my k1600gt!

I'd like smoke you on my Road King !
Only thing your missing is a fat tire kit too float over big pot holes!
Ike I love the look they do hurt performance a bit so I tent to stay away from them for true performance touring.
RWD suspension is where it's at.

14.5” bars and risers

Buy a BMW K1600 GTL or a R1250RT if you want a performance touring motorcycle. Or a R18 Bagger or TransContinental.
I do have an r18 and love it
Want a performance tourer.... Put a trunk on performance bagger.
