Thunderhill 2019 08 04

USTCC Round 5 2019. A balky transmission in the #31 GoGoGear Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8L made for a very challenging race. 3 to 4 shifts were very difficult, and the trans wanted to pop out of 5th gear, so I had to hold the shift lever in 5th. The missed shifts into 4th are cringe-worthy, but driving under the checkered flag in 1st place in the Touring Car class made the race-long panic worth it!
