Jason is an excellent actor. He can do justice to a lot of roles and should not be stereotyped only as a foreigner or "British officer". That would be unfair to him. He should be given other acting opportunities too.
I wish him all the best

Myths busted well. But we really need to know more about the issue related to Fitoor that your role was chopped off. I recently watched the movie and I felt sad that this happened with you. So I want to know more about it.
I really hate peoples who try to dominate the newcomers in the film industry and so that way I will get one more reason to hate them.

I dunno.. I'm just confused.. your accent is just not perfect.. and i'm shocked that you cant speak hindi fluently... you have that indian twang..
But i did notice your attenpts to make it sound different..
I mean .. you accent is somewhere between british and indian with a hint of american..
I can notice it.. but why is he pretending not to speak english fluently.. i mean .. his accent is nowhere close to a native speaker..
He's white but that doesn't mean he will have that accent.. i mean seriously there are many indians out there in America ... who were born there.. who speak like native speakers.. and some indians learn by imitating natives..
By the way .. he's an indian.. white indian.. or british indian..
Like we have indian americans. .
I didn't mean to hurt you .. or offend you.. if my words did .. my apologies... for that ..

An accent isn't just a result of where you were born, are currently living, it's also a result of where you studied and the influence of your parents. I was raised in North America and have a very plain, neutral, American accent. But when I moved to another country my accent adapted slightly to the new language after a few years (but only in certain situations and only my parents noticed it). If he's born to British and American parents and lived in India his whole life and his step dad is Indian...his accent is going to be a bit mixed. He may have spoke English in the house growing up which explains his less than stellar Hindi. But...he speaks just fine.

    • @science-y9209

@@Drkajavab the fact is.. he has been here his whole life..
So even if he spoke english with his parents .. Doesn't mean that he never ventured out..
Your accent is mixed .. but is it not american.. does it not resemble your original accent..
This adaptation happens only when you know that language.. and by knowing i mean you can speak that language pretty fluently..
It's not like you randomly adapt to a new language..
I am an indian and perfectly bilingual... and i do speak with american accent .. but that doesn't mean i cant speak hindi.. infact I'm fluent...

@@science-y9209 My parents spoke Hindi at home. They were worried I might have problems when I went to kindergarten but apparently I switched right over (thanks Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow 😂). I was told as a kid (by a handful of ppl) that I had an "Indian accent", even as an adult twice. Now, I also think it was hogwash since I think they were just being racist because most ppl did not hear it (and these places had serious issues back then). Most would argue my accent is neutral American. I am a polyglot: 4 fluently, 3 others at intermediate, and a smattering of others at a beginner level. Perhaps that makes my accent more fluid? Although I think slight changes in an accent aren't just related to when you know the language. I am in France so when I'm seriously explaining something I'm currently studying my American accent does this minor shift to a French accent. I am not completely fluent in French yet but I am in the process of learning. However, the slight accent has apparently become noticeable. So my accent definitely changes and accommodates more to where I am (and I've moved/traveled a lot). I tend to pick up little sayings/mannerisms wherever I go. It's not a conscious thing (usually). Honestly, it's also a way of building a connection. I dunno, he has an Indian, British, American accent which doesn't seem strange to me given his upbringing. But it is a bit unusual his Hindi is not as good as it likely should be. It's almost like he moved to India as an adult and is trying to learn. He can make his point but he conjugates his verbs incorrectly just like I do in French! It's interesting though. I'm almost certain if he were speaking to me his accent would shift to full American, or full Brit if he was in London....maybe? Great convo though...got me wondering about accents/language acquisition now 😃.

@@Drkajavab you talked in hindi with your parents , right?
But does that mean you couldn't speak english.. or had problem speaking english fluently. .. or some words confused you..
      You said you can..
      But why can't HE..
      Switch places.. and you'll see...
He spoke in english with his parents but was born here.. just the way you were born in America and you can speak like natives.. even though it is apparently not your first language. ..

    • @Drkajavab

@@science-y9209 no I get what you're saying. In my case apparently in the beginning (before I started school) I didn't speak English at all. But when I went to school I am told I just started speaking English and no one was the wiser. I don't know where he went to school (elementary, middle, high school). It appears he did a lot of his adult schooling in the US. It's amazing how fast you can lose even your native tongue. The first time I went back to India I remember some girls had to speak in English so I could play with them/understand. I had an American accent but then eventually worked on learning more vocab and am fluent now. It helped that we watched movies, my parents sang a lot, and my elders pretended not to understand English 😆. My cousins all went to formal Hindi classes and none of them can hardly speak at all. Again, I don't know where he spent most of his time/education.
