So very glad to see you back, sir!! I love the work you put into your videos. Your craftsmanship is exquisite! I would love to see and learn from you working in person. One can dream.
hi. We don't seem to get any issues as long as the forged piece is cleaned properly and isn't left in contact with mild/carbon steel. Very piece is put through the vibe and then dried and oiled. Works for us ok - I'm using 304 . Happy to give any tips if you want as it's a great material to use
@@alexpoleblacksmith yeah, that slight variation is a nice aspect of hand made things. Also when the same person tries the same idea repeatedly and you see the evolution in their execution of the idea

Thanks for a great video depicting some great craftsmanship and care given to an otherwise overlooked tool.
Amazing!
Glad to see more films coming out on the RUclips.

Very nice, job well done. They probably make the food taste great.
Amazing work as always 👍👍
Looks great! I've never had much luck with stainless/keeping it from rusting.
Have you tried Passivation in phosphoric or critic acid? Really necessary for this craft shown here.
@@stevefarley7014 I bought a citric acid spray to test. Same issue. I must be doing something wrong.

What sort of variation do you get piece to piece?
we try to get as little as possible but of course each piece is slightly different . All part of the beauty I think
