      Thanks 👍 I work on the bikes myself and I wanted to focus on the known issues. Maintenance is key (especially the torquing the crank bolts) and the bike should last a long time. Thanks again for the props

    Great video, thanks. Do you have a video on maintenance on an assault fitness air runner?

      Sorry, I am not working for Assault anymore. I'll check out the air runner though.

    Hi, great video. I just got an assault bike. What tool/s should I buy for the maintenance

    • @Sportek1MH

      Ive not been with Assault for a while, but ill get that info to you. Most important is the METRIC Allen wrench to tighten the cranks. Do not use the closest English wrench...you'll ruin the bolt.

      HI,, Ive been with another company for a while. That was honestly not an issue we had when i was there. Sometimes when the chains are put together, or because of rust it could create a "frozen link" You should be able to observe this as the chain goes around the small ring at the middle hub. Also, make sure that the middle hub is "square" to the chain line. That middle hub can be adjusted on both sides, keep it "square" to the frame. Good luck.

    What size tool is needed to tighten the crank bolt and the belt crank bolt please?

    • @Sportek1MH
      @Sportek1MH  2 года назад

      8mm Allen Wrench....do not use an English size Allen Wrench....it WILL ruin the bolt

    Afternoon all, looking for a bit of advice. I’m a mobile personal trainer so I travel quite a bit, I currently have a golf TDI hatchback. I’d love to buy an assault bike but I don’t think I’d be able to put the seats down and pop the bike in the back. Would it be possible to get a bike rack and put this on the back perha

    We have 2 air bikes. One is smooth and makes the right fan noise. The other sounds like there is some type of metallic rubbing. Can you think of anything hat might be commonly occurring this type of metallic noise? Thanks.

    How do you clean inside the cage?

    • @Sportek1MH
      @Sportek1MH  2 года назад

      Im not with Assault anymore, but yes the inside dust on the cage is tedious. If you are doing it, i would charge by the hour :) You might try to take the clips off (holding the two halfs) but just one clip at a time. That may allow you to reach in. Good luck

      @@Sportek1MH is there some kind of small air blower that you can buy to clean inside at the blades?🤔

      @@Sportek1MH Hi,Thank you for replying! I really appreciate it.😊How much did you used to charge for cleaning the inside cage and blades of the bike?

    Or you could just make a product that doesn’t require an engineer to maintain. I mean come on.
