    // OUR STORY
    We're professional dancers who decided to try something new. Figure skating is usually perceived as a kid's activity and often adults feel like it's too late for them to start.
    We decided to ditch this notion and prove with our example that it's never too late to try something new.
    We hope our experience of learning ice skating as beginner adults (which is also a great workout) will inspire you to get active and get in shape and go after those points on your bucket list, too!
    Follow our ice skating journey and be a part of our ice skating progression with our ice skating vlog every Thursday. Hope you enjoy our ice skating channel.

    Ha, I was that kid that kept telling my mom I wanted to skate. After a summer of that she finally enrolled me into lessons.

      @@brunoandfae I also was on the ice at Public sessions in Daytona I think almost every week that summer. My first coach is still there last I knew and I ran into her a few years ago and she was so happy I continued skating. I had to quit due to time and school in high school. I couldn’t balance the classes I was taking (IB courses) and choir, and hours of homework.

    The closest rink too me is about 40 minutes away and I can't drive yet, how can I convince my parents too take me regularly?

    • @brunoandfae
      @brunoandfae  2 года назад

      Have you tried explaining to them why skating is so very important for you and what it does for you?
      If the problem is regularity, ask you coach to talk to your parents and explain why consistent schedule is important for your goals.

    How you practice is how you perform. US Women's Hockey Skating Team. Boy, does that apply to figure skating!

    Интересный формат видео. В России (не в Москве и не в городе с миллионом жителей) совсем не развито фигурное катание для взрослых и клубы только для детей, привет из города Владивосток, вы мне нравитесь, всего наилучшего вам.

    • @brunoandfae
      @brunoandfae  3 года назад

      Спасибо! И Вам. Во Владивостоке взрослые не катаются совсем?

      @@brunoandfae катаемся, но сталкиваемся с многими проблемами, например тренировки в другом городе, возможность тренироваться 1 раз в неделю (мало), коньки покупаем по интернету, потому что взрослых размеров нет в продаже, фигурное катание это дорого, например купить профессиональные коньки начального класса = заплатить месячную зарплату. Нет перспектив соревноваться. И так по всей стране. Единицы выезжают на соревнования международного уровня. Мы не отчаиваемся - "терпение и труд все перетрут" русская пословица, успехов вам
