Why can I see this actually being canon with Kaleb withabane/possibly Clawthorne cause if you think about it that would explain why Lilith would know what a human looks like and why Eda wouldn’t be phased while seeing Luz and their mom looks so similar to the woman Kaleb impregnated and flapjack having the scare over his one eye cause we know necromancy is a thing in TOH and how much he cares about him and Quine so this would make since
Oh, that's a really interesting story, and it really goes with what the canon would do, Caleb not only falling in love with a witch, but also realizing she's a trans woman, since we know that kind of bigotry doesn't exist in the Boiling Isles so they would be exposed to it for the first time, and it goes with the religious bigotry themes of the Owl House, trans people often being mourned by their families even though they're alive and well, and Belos making a "better version of an old friend", even though this isn't canon, it seems interesting Phillip didn't specify gender, not even by saying "brother", as if he can't bring himself to recognize the one he knew as Caleb as family or as a man anymore.
