well personally i just did the industry path first then went for rearmament then i built level 10 forts on the benelux border and level 5 forts on the italian border and i was able to hold until they died to the soviets

I'm a genuine military genuise 1) option: don't play france, play the uk 🙃 2) option: don't guarantee poland and don't join the war, when germany is going to focus ''war on france'' you should have a positive infantry of equipment and 6 forts on the benelux border, and you focus on fighters and cas, you must have a lot of civilians and mils factories, but that can hold germany, and italy is easy to hold on the alpine line, just put a bunch of mountaineers and you can handle it, wait if the usa joined in 1942 the war and destroy a germany without manpower and equipment :D 3) option: Rush italy! put few divisions in the maginot line and go full on the italians and extra trops from the benelux region the italians will collapse in the naval invasions, so when you go to italy, germany will enter poland, and you will have two simulations the 1 is the germans will protect the rest of italy in venice (you can hold the river in milan) the second is you rush italy and capitulate them and go have a line of defense in the alps of austria (germany) borders and germany will do suicide attacks in the mountains and if you can hold to the last men and also spamming the ''last stand'' it will be more easy and now 50/50 germany will go on the benelux but not panic hold and palce half of the trops in italy to the forts and just de ww1 electric boogaloo 2 (also do plane so Germany can't bomb you to the ground)
extend the maginot line, make some defensive divisions, put some mountaineers on the italian front, invade libya immediately but dont bother with ethiopia, put like 2 divisions on the sardinian border it's pretty easy to defend, dont let the germans get paris at all costs, if you still have disjointed government that's pretty much an instant capitulation
