Visiting the Dry Tortugas National Park

- We were able to go on a family vacation this summer and check out the Dry Tortugas off our bucket list. It was such a beautiful park and we felt blessed to get to experience it as a family with my parents.
Seems like an amazing trip!! My favorite part of Key West was feeding the giant tarpon fish. I used to be the same way as Kaidale with goggles and getting my face wet. I only noticed this summer that the sound of being underwater really bugs me, so I'm looking into getting some swimming earplugs. Keep trying things and see what works for him. 😊❤
Awwww he’s such a handsome boy!! The place looked like so much fun!! I hope I make it somewhere fun with my little guy too before the end of the summer. When Kaidale was running on the bricks by the water I was holding by breath lol, it gave me so much anxiety. So glad he knows how to swim!!!

What a beautiful place. I love the clear water. I would love to go sometime. My son may not enjoy it. He has high functioning autism and used to love to swim and now doesn’t. He likes to wear hats and sunglasses. I know a lot of kids with autism don’t like that at all.

When Kaidale took off running on that edge while being so close to the water I was like DON’T FALL IN.(all capital letters for the seriousness)otherwise everything looked so beautiful and worth exploring.

I went snorkeling so far out in the ocean from Key Largo in 1998. I had a camera with me so I just started diving down and getting shots of everything and unbeknownst to me I had swam up close to two Barracuda for photos! We got back on the boat and one of the guys said did you see those Barracudas?! We went to a one hour photo in Key West and sure enough I photographed them up close and personal!! 😂
Kaidale is such a lucky young man to go to all these fun adventures with you & your Parents! He is an amazing kid ❤😂😊! Kaidale is much braver than I am. I'd never go snorkeling, anytime. I was so proud of him trying so many new experiences in life! Great job, Kaidale ❤🎉😂!
I was scared before hand, but once we got there and saw everyone else in the water, it didn’t seem like a big deal.
@@Kaitlin_and_Kaidale both of you are so beyond brave to do what you did. Paragliding, snorkeling, etc... I know I don't have that in me & Kaidale's bravery in trying new things was quite remarkable! You're a fantastic Mom to raise such an awesome child with special needs alone. I used to work with kids like him & You're such a positive role model for him! Keep up the great work & keep up your fantastic videos of your new adventures together!

It's amazing how far Kaidale has come since I found your channel. Just a thought, you know how sound is distorted under water, would Kaidale wear ear plugs as the sound might be too much for him? This looked like a fabulous trip. 😊😊
That’s true, I was focused on the other sensory aspects, I don’t think about the sounds underwater
@@Kaitlin_and_Kaidale I only mention it because I have a problem with certain sounds, underwater being one of them and I wear ear plugs to mitigate this.
I bet he’ll like the jet ski and parasailing since he seems to like adventure
