The poem gives me chills. It definitely makes me think deeply about the things we value as a society. And as the finale to the album it was perfect.
Exactly! Loved it!
Yes I’ve been waiting for this. This song messed with my head. I still tear up. The flower line kills me. Someone made the point that the album begins and ends with those same birds chirping, maybe suggesting that this state of purgatory that this album represents is a loop 🤯 This entire album was absolutely incredible 🔥🖤 Thank you for these awesome reactions! 🖤
That's wild I did not catch that until now!!!!
Thank You so much for experiencing this with me!🙏
Reminds me of the Birds 1 & 2 from start to finish. that song and those birds nothing sounds more beautiful 💯❤
It can also be an indication that the 3rd album of the trilogy may be based on an acoustic/less refined /more natural theme as it represents life of heaven after pergatory...
@@abcabc-xc4bl So the title of the 3rd album of this triology could be "After Life" - Actually would be quite fitting: After Hours - Dawn FM - After Life
You’re the only RUclips person who actually got the message. Thank you
🙏💜
Great Reaction. It is always easy to see when someone is being sincere and you certainly have been that. The album only gets better with each successive listen and Phantom Regret brings tears to my eyes every single time.
Appreciate you so much!!!!🙏
Absolutely.....I play this on repeat some nights...dreams I have so lucid...so real. Very emotional wake ups
Jim is waking people , because the now is here admire it ,time will never pass us by ,if we own it in the moment....❤
What a masterpiece! The whole album has definitely raised the bar a lot. Haven't heard such inspiring and touching piece of art for ages. That's not only music - it's a reflection of the soul, it's a divine version of a human story.
Very well put!💯
I listen to this poetry piece til this day whenever i need a moment to calm down and reflect for a second, it really helps me. Lol
I've refreshed my sub page a few times a day since the reaction to Less Than Zero- I've been THAT excited to see your reaction to this. I've heard Phantom Regret over 10 times by now but still got chills and teary eyed watching you experience it and secondhand feels. damn. the birds chirping at the end are the same birds we hear in the first intro track "Dawn FM", like we've finally reached the light. I also think of it as a reference to "the birds pt 1 & 2" from Thursday--- the dawn has arrived and he's still a bird but now he's free. in the sunlight.
"I'm just a bird" and now he really is as he embraces the light. {one hell of a stretch cuz i was high when i thought this) Regardless, pls do a re-listen because it grows and grows on you. THANK YOU FOR THIS REACTION XOTWOD
edit: idk wtf is going on with my grammar, please excuse my brevity and grammar/punctuation errors. I was TOO stoked to write this loolol btw, Abel co-wrote this, not just Jim. Our poetic, existential king really wrote deep poetry damn
The dolls in the background really add a nice touch to watching this reaction 😂😂
😂
I didn't think you would love this album and relate to all of it this much. Your reactions to Dawn FM put me on quite a journey , it was freakn intense ughhh. My soul has been healed!
Imagine if the last part of this new trilogy, he goes to hell instead of heaven.. choosing "Vegas over heaven's gate"?? That would be crazy, but doing some research it shows that the Roman Catholic Christians believed purgatory was only a state between life on earth and heaven.. so theoretically once you are in purgatory you can only go to heaven after that.. So I guess Abel's next album will sound like you're ascending into heaven? I can't imagine how incredible it's going to be! The journey he's taken us on is insane lol.
Loved all your reactions! Glad I found your channel while spiraling into Weeknd reactions
Ayy I appreciate that so much!💜✨
Just watched the whole series today , I liked that you took more than music from the reaction and understood the concept and a lot of what was going on , like the references to other songs. I think the only thing that would’ve made this better for me were if you had it all in one big reaction video. Great content tho bro , got a new subscriber !
That was soo beautiful and deep ❤️
Beautiful reaction 🤌
Just watching you melt for Weeknd back vocals makes me think and I probably beg at this point for you to react to Kiss Land 💋 sorry I'm late just realized my notification were never on🤭

Writing another comment rather than editing my old one, for algorithm purposes hahaha- which, if any, of the weeknd albums/mixtapes have you never heard start to finish?
I have asked this and he might get into it🤣🤣 I'm begging at this point,
Would really love to see his reaction to Kiss Land!
