One thing I wanted to add is this song & story made me come to terms with my own insecurities. In my early 20's, I was under pressure to stop seeing someone, just because her body type didn't match mine. I ended up breaking up with her because of this pressure & wasn't entirely honest with her as to why. Twenty years later, I still regret hurting her & not being honest. This song caught my attention on the radio as a catchy tune, but now that I have learned the back story, I absolutely love it! You are very talented and an inspiration to us all.
One thing I wanted to add is this song & story made me come to terms with my own insecurities. In my early 20's, I was under pressure to stop seeing someone, just because her body type didn't match mine. I ended up breaking up with her because of this pressure & wasn't entirely honest with her as to why. Twenty years later, I still regret hurting her & not being honest. If she ever reads this, I hope she knows that I am truly sorry. 😔
