- When sewing long lengths of zippers it is important to use match up marks to line up the second half of the zipper. Otherwise your fabric application may not zip up evenly when sewing of the zipper is completed. This applies to all types of zippers, coil and vislon zippers.

This video has helped so much. Thank you for a great detailed tutorial
I'm glad to hear that the tutorial was helpful for you! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
Mad skills!
That was quite a project-- I can't imagine working with something that large/long.
I sew a hanglider bag a month ago and happened to me that at the end the lengths didn’t match ,no idea why.Lesson learnt. Thanks a lot!
Your welcome!!!!
Thank you for great tutorial, very detailed and well explained. One question, as you are using a double sided tape, do you oil the needle to avoid it getting sticky or any other suggestions
I've sewn through 3 layers of the tape and haven't had any issue with the glue sticking to the needle. It's very thin tape
Amazing video! But how do you put or create the stopper on the zipper? In order for the other side to match the other?
Thank you! Quick question for you! Can these zippers be sewn into something with curves? I'm not much of a seamstress.... but you guys make everything look so easy. I'm kinda wanting to try it!😅
In the outdoor world of zippers two types can be chosen; Vislon or Coil Zippers. Usually a Vislon type is picked it hold up better in the sun than a Coil zipper, but the Vislon type does not take a curve as well as a Coil zipper does. So, when sewing a curve in a zipper pick Coil Zippers over Vislon Zippers. Here is a video for that: ruclips.net/video/wUuKqdOMbTg/видео.html
Thank you very much🙏
