Only for those teens who are pursuing competitive exams
But my most of pleasant memories are of kota when I was preparing for jee, now I'm in 2nd year in IIT Guwahati and i really miss those days.
This webseries is only 10% of our life and really pathetic to the inorganic chemistry which is very easy and scoring
Actor played Jeetu Bhaiya Character is an IITian himself. And most of the crew including Writer, Producers and some actors also go through this life. So, it's a close to heart product from them
He should get Oscar for this if Americans understand this situation.
JEE Advanced formerly known as IIT Jee is a way to enter in IIT college. JEE Advanced exam is one of the toughest exam in the world.Every year 1 million (10 lakhs) fill the form for JEE Main exam .out of which only 150k students are allowed to appear in JEE Advanced exam. And lastly only 5 to 6 thousands get IIT.
Man this series triggers all my anxiety back from my college/competitive days.

Below that circle, there is a pathway to the main gate of bansal classes. Spent 2 years through those gates like other thousands..so its kind of relatable to all of us. ❤ When jeetu says , they leave Kota but Kota never leaves them. It gives me goosebumps. It never left. ❤

When it initially came out, I didn’t want to watch it at all, whenever my friends in college talked of it, I just would never participate, it felt traumatising, but years later when I gave it a try the series though turned out to be great but well it still feels like a lot has been taken away whenever life in Kota is mentioned
same i just couldnt watch it i felt like crying in each episode it was traumatizing but then i left IIT preparation and now i can watch it

Guys you can't understand how relatable this series I was in kota for my medicine preparation and not even a single scene from this series felt exaggerated. Those 2 years of my life in kota was a whole another experience it has to be lived can't be explained.

In India during fasting people can eat fruits and milk but grain are not allowed that's why Meena was eating banana

Just to give u context, jee advance is exam for getting in IIT (INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY) iit is finest college in India for engineering and most of Indian successful entrepreneurs running big company in US are IIT alumini,, getting in iit is tough because paper are hard and also above the level of normal 12grade student,, paper asked syllabus of both 11and 12grade , math physic and chemistry ,, context, iit is mit of india, also for ur context of exam, being in grade 12 I have solved mit final year problems of physics. Also very less seat in iit for brain branch like computer science , many more factor make it difficult to crack but it's easy for dedicated student., here in Indian very coaching Institute teach to qualify for iit because school of education is not level of iit and coaching charge heavy fees.

First time seeing Kota Factory with you.
Same happened with me. I went to Kota quite late in July, got second last batch, S16 in Resonance. Same dialogue tha unka ki 2 months me reshuffling hogi. But thankfully with that reshuffling, I was able to get into 2nd batch S2, wanted to get into S1 also where HODs teach but they stopped reshuffling after first one. 😂
Well, I was already happy, teaching quality in S2 was already way better than S16 batch. But in the end, what matters most is your determination and practice.
How nostalgic this series would be for any person who prepared for IIT or any other competition exams in India, I can already imagine.
Loved you Panchayat reaction. That series I had watched already. But this one, I m gonna watch with you.

If you watch both the seasons of this series, then you will come to know that how the people of India are able to do such a good job in the whole world and how difficult is the education system in India.I give my example, I just prepare for a government job, but I have to study for 10 to 11 hours everyday and it is not that only I study, almost all students study so much.Because of studies, we are neither able to play nor make friends nor roam anywhere, we are unable to leave the house for weeks because if we waste our time, we will be left behind by many students.There is only phone in which entertainment is done by watching videos.😔

That craze for teacher In kota or in Indian is true, they earn more then 200k dollar per year
The theme is black and white is to harken to old days where life was set into this sort of unavoidable structure and this place is made into a binary factory that is trying to squeeze you into IIT which is already too much sought after. Either your future is bright or its dark...there is no guarantee, welcome to the factory of dreams.
Not only does it show obsession of parents to drag people into top universities in a tender age just so they get a leg up on other people even during their school days. Just like Jeetu Bhaiya said, its almost Inhuman because at this age they should be more carefree and running around doing fun things but instead they end up locking themselves in like hermits and studying for many years on end. This ends up putting a huge impact on their mindsets eventually when they couldn't get in despite all that effort. Any competitive exam in India has this same fate, either you get in or you regret all your life because country doesn't have adequete resources. Think about it, millions of people score above 90 percent...things are so ridiculous that some universities even put in the requirement to get in as getting 99%, this has gone too far out of hand.
Despite all that bullshit, we do have people like Jeetu Bhaiya that know the reality of the situation and are not willing to peddle solace to people. They treat people honestly and how they should be treated. He knew how Vaibhav had copied answers and reprimanded him for it saying how it will not work in future but he didn't penalize him for it because he knew how much hardwork he put in to get the answers in just 1 night. As someone who aspire to be teacher I want to be like Jeetu Bhaiya who can guide people correctly and appropriately, not only that...but also to be contemporary to handle the current issues with modern solutions. Jeetu bhaiya's funda in life is crystal clear and logical, I watched the entire show for it. by the way funda means fundamentals. Problem with our teachers is that they just think shouting at people or being strict is only way to be, the fundamental idea of what they are doing is flawed. Teachers are nothing but tools to help student to get to their goal. A good teacher shortens the effort and distance of your journey considerably and makes its bearable. None of my teachers could ever give me clarity, they either shouted at me for being a duffer or too silent, ignored me or simply lectured me. Some even praised me and encouraged me in many ways which I appreciated but that was not it though, I needed some clarity of what I was supposed to do...I dont want to be preached, I dont want to be endlessly lectured, I dont want to be belittled. People only desire clarity in their life, someone to show them the route. Rest they will walk through by themselves.
I don't think jeetu was acting at one point in his speech. I think he meant exactly what he said, being an alumni from IIT.
