Opening 8 is easily my favourite, the song is fire and the animation is great at showing Naruto struggle
OP 8 is easily my favourite. From the singing (that somehow reminds me of Shikamaru don't ask why) to the visuals, it's just amazing all around.

I saw FLOW live a few weeks ago at a convention, and they opened with Sign (OP 6) and it, as well as the whole concert was amazing. The GO!!! performance was great with crowd interaction, and they ended the concert with Boruto OP 10, which sounded great live.

The Goofy op was made specifically that way because of the earthquake that happened, they decided to make it that way so it would lighten the mood on people
My favorite is op 19 v3. It's incredibly underrated imo

Openings 3 and 4 each have two versions, and the compilation you watched had the second version of each. The second version of Opening 3 and the first version of Opening 4 both cover the Akatsuki Suppression arc, the first version of Opening 3 covers the filler arc before that, and the second version of Opening 4 covers the filler arc after.
I love op 13, the animation is so smooth and the music choice is also amazing.

I keep being surprised by how the majority seems to dislike Totsugeki Rocku as a song. It's up there as one of my absolute favorites.

Great chance for the story to pivot to all of team 7 (and Obito I guess) and not just Naruto and Sasuke, too. I just wish she had been foreshadowed earlier, considering that Madara's statue shows up way back in part 1, for instance
One thing to note about some of these openings is they have a few versions. Well usually just two. Sometimes when they had filler arcs between the main story they had some visuals relating to that and then they would change the opening when it was main canon material again. Openings 3, 4 and 5 had two different variations each from what I remember.

This is actually a really cool idea you should try for all the series. Like a before and after opening reaction. The sheer difference once you have context is astounding.
My personal favorites are blue bird, closer, and silhouette, but op 20 is also great

I think you can clearly see the turning point with opening 6, after that basically every single one is a banger and insanely well animated

The visuals from the 3rd op(blue bird) with the fight against Kakuzu/Hidan should have been in the op 4 "Closer". Idk, what's with the og video.
Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a year and change late, but here's the answer.
There's two versions of op3; normally people watch the first version of it which has imagery from the Sora filler arc. While V2 has the canon on goings.
Meanwhile, op4 also has two versions. One being the canon material, and the other being the filler imagery you see here.
8:14 most of the openings have 2 different parts to them. Like in opening 4 there is the one that u watched which is the 2nd part of opening 4 where it is the last half of the season. In the part 1 of opening 4 shows the first half of the season with more of shikamaru and his team. I recommend u watch part 1 of opening 4 since u liked it so much
The 'Sakura vs Konan fight' in Opening 7 was actually Ino, Hinata, and Sakura vs Konan. Also, funny they mentioned that but not Team Gai vs Tendo.
Opening 6 is always my favorite
13 is my fav but I also like 18, 6, 7, 8, 17, 12 and 10.
About 3 and 4, it has alternate versions to show the filler arcs, 3 being the one for filler then changed it for the Asuma part which was reused for the original 4 (then had an alt for the 3 tails arc).
Hebi = Snake, was first name of Sasuke's group, they became Taka = Eagle after Akatsuki.
And yeah, 11 is very underwhelming and out of place the music...

@@Allonsyyyy spoilers only exist for people who have already watched the show. First viewers don’t know if what they see in openings will happen or not. A possible spoiler isn’t a spoiler.
@@youtpfpm6097 A spoiler is still a spoiler if you have context or not, plus he already reacted to all the openings before watching the show. Watching them as your watching the show will give you some context and that makes it "A Spoiler"

So, you can wait for the fight between Sakura and Konan forever, but it never happens. I mean sakura would be dead if it did, but they can still show things that do happen in the show, and once you get to that point you've already somewhat expected it to happen. Again that's your opinion and this is mine, spoilers are spoilers period.

halfway through the openings went to sh*t in my opinion, at like 18 minute that op is during the earthquake so they started making them "funny" (but it sorta ruined replayability)
