I have a farm family that was recently hard hit in SW Texas flooding. They are going through it again after a lot of rain and failure of one of the area dams. So sad as they run an animal sanctuary. Imma Survivor Sanctuary/Longhorn Lester and family need prayers. So overwhelmed while already cleaning up and rebuilding after the recent flood...an historic flood for the area. Please remember them in your prayers friends. TY. Also wanted to give you all a shout out for your prayers recently for my sister. Prayers answered for her situation...now if we can pray the Holy Spirit will continue to work on her and her kids for salvation through our Jesus. Amen! TY Mitch for the forecast and I look forward to the rain as it keeps the cicadas from flying! Nashville, TN is on round two of the cicada hatch and it is loud and they are just everywhere.

I just heard that 4 - 6 people lost their lives in the Houston TX area r/t to the severe storms...Prayers for their families. How sad.
I keep seeing red eyed cicadas here in Louisiana and hear their hatching spot roaring off in the distance. Not sure why there aren`t millions buzzing in the woods here. It has been a neverending battle with Mother Nature here for me just trying to grow some decent food. I`ve farmed since 1970 and have never struggled this hard to simply grow a garden or fruit tree. Rain rain rain and no sun for over two months and the constant threat of severely dangerous storms.

Good morning Mitch and believers. It's rare but I missed being here yesterday going to the dentist. I'm here later than usual so there will be more prayer needs. In San Diego we have what's called "May gray" and every morning you'd swear it was going to rain. Then God produces so much sun. Temps upper 60s. Kansas City got a mention. Western half is my people on over to the KS border. Thank you. God bless your family and everyone dropping by.
Mitch, thank you for what you do. You always explain for those that don’t know and with no hype or fear mongering. I would like to ask for prayers. Our fur baby, Bentley, crossed over the rainbow bridge Tuesday night. Many will not understand, but he is our child (our human ones are grown) and we are having a very difficult time with it! Also, please include our other fur baby, Kaylee, as she is very sad too.

Oh Cindy I am so very sorry. They mean as much to us as anyone we love. Just know one day you will see your furbabies in Heaven. There will be a time coming when all the walls of communication will break and we can all understand all we can't now. Sending prayers for you and your loved ones.

Good morning from the UP. Been feeling like summer here the past few days. It’s very unlikely we could have a tornado. The UP is quite narrow and the Great Lakes are cold just about all the time. By far the most tornadoes happen right at the border with Wisconsin. Have a super Saturday!
I`ve been using full spectrum bulbs on my tomato plants this year trying to boost their growth and fruit set before temps get into the 90s and ruin tomato growing. We`ve only had sunshine a few days here in Louisiana in two months. I`m trying mini tomato plants indoors too where I can keep it below 90 degrees...hopefully. I`ve had nothing but a constant battle with Mother Nature for nearly three years trying to grow some fresh food.
@@baneverything5580 I always thought way down there it’s easy to grow just about anything. We have such a short growing season about a hundred days on average.
@@Steven-em5if I can grow 365 days a year here, but in December 2022 we had an extreme freeze that even killed 50 year old fruit trees, then in summer 23 my corn was destroyed by 80 mph winds then a drought that lasted months and temperatures daily well over 100 degrees made everything but okra just about impossible to grow, and since my garden was the only green vegetation around all the wildlife showed up. Armadillos uprooted everything desperately searching for worms, and a bunny showed up starving so I let her eat most of what she wanted and gave her bowls of water. We`re friends now. I have never seen it this hard to grow something to eat.
@@Steven-em5if Try a cucumber or whatever your favorite vegetable is in a simple indoor hydro bucket. Sansi bulbs are great for this. Put them in a lamp thing with a clip on it. Timers are cheap. Use a power strip with one built in with charging ports so you can use a USB fan to help with circulation. Air flow helps plants take up calcium. You can get a blue Petco 5 gal bucket for about 8 bucks. Cabbage & tomatoes do great too...lettuce, mustard, chard, collards, kale, peppers....most things like that.

Good morning Mitch and weather friends, Mitch could you look ahead to the end of May and see if the interior northeast has any freeze warnings? I usally don't plant my garden until Memorial day, I don't want to plant if we could get a freeze warning so if you could figure that out that would be great!

Baby C UPDATE for those her missed it last night, she is home ❤️❤️❤️ Her Mom posted the sweetest photo of her asleep for the first time in her own crib after 211 days in the NICU. Thanks to all her prayed for her and thought of her during these difficult times. God bless you all 🙏🙏🙏
