Slight correction on the drivers. They are angled, but one active driver is angled forward and one is angled on the opposite side to the rear. Then opposite of that front angled and rear angled are passive radiators.
I have the first version. I live in Turkey and it is very expensive here. The sound quality is higher than a laptop or phone at home, but it can't compete with a sound system. even the worst 2+1 sound system would beat it. I bought it for camping but I regret it because in the open field the sound is dissipated in the wind. The only thing I like is that it gives 360 degree sound. The biggest drawback is the lack of a charging indicator. The difference between the second and third versions is no ip67 external. The only minus in mine is sea water and I don't go into the sea with a speaker.
hmmm....honestly, it looks perfect for my needs. I need something that clips securely to my backpack while riding an ekskate. Can be pretty bumpy...will this thing stay on? That is my only concern
@@solomonjenkins9505 well I did a 4-Play shootout of small speakers recently and you can watch that video. The Drum was the loudest of the speakers compared.
Sir in wonderboom 3 has 3 kinds of sounds of battery level like high, medium, low?? Like wonderboom 2 has 3 kinds ,i wonder cause my wonderboon 3 only High And medium sound has no low battery sounds when im checking in the red light situation of wonderboom 3..do you think this is defective??
USB-C is capable of faster data transfer speeds and faster charging speeds compared to the much older micro-USB. Micro-USB literally came out like 15 years ago and in the past few years most electronics have moved on to the newer USB-C. USB-C is also much easier to connect since it doesn't matter which way you connect it. I know we have wall been on the frustrating end of trying to connect a micro-USB cable that has to be inserted only one possible way, but doesn;t seem to want to connect either way..lol. Much like a HDMI jack, but much smaller.
Yeh but usb c usually never has any benefits for speakers of this size as fast charging a small battery can cause a lot of problems, including overheating the battery to point of early death, and usb c on a product other than ease of use and convenience would se no other benefits, is probably the reason Logitech didn’t bother to waist money on usb c for this product, take the JBL flip 6 for example, it has USB C and doesn’t charge any faster than wonderboom 3, even though it has a bigger battery it just doesn’t have a way to Dissipate the extra heat generated by the fast charging unlike smartphones that were designed, so more than likely Logitech didn’t a reason to waist money on it even though you find it unacceptable,a USB C port in the next wonderboom will be there for convenience not fast charging, a product like this with its small battery doesn’t need fast charging.
another classic review!!! my friend has one in red. could take it to grandmaws, and put in the bowl of plastic fruit on the table or if in white? kids use it for softball! @@JaysStraightUpReviews lol!! Yeah, I think the last big thing, was the blast for people, every body waiting for the boombox3. I don't know what the deal is. It's Putin's fault. LMFAO!!

Love this speaker but mine when it playing music after like one song I stops for a second then starts playing again. It annoying so I took it back to best buy and got me a different one thinking it was just the first one but the second one does the same thing.
It might be that the reason for them sticking to a micro usb is because they would need to do a redesign, the only thing I’ve seen they upgraded was the Bluetooth version and maybe a retune to the eq, considering how amazing the speaker sounds and the fact it can go toe to toe with the JBL flip series, I’d say the 100 dollar price tag is fair, but the gripe about the usb micro I feel is not a big deal, I mean yeah it makes more annoying to have to carry an extra cable around and maybe another brick if you have c to c with your phone,I wouldn’t call the engineers at Logitech Lazy, a lot of times the choice to go with usb micro over usb c is to save space, especially if the original design incorporated it, you can tell the stuck with the exact same design from the second model, but don’t fret I’m sure they won’t use the same design a third time, and hopefully we will see USB C in the 4th Model
You really think the Wonderboom 3 sounds amazing? I've had a few different UE speakers and the smaller, hand-held ones I've tried are mediocre, including the WB3.
