I hope that the next time IKendi demonstrates a little more consideration with those blacks who spoke about whether or not blacks and whites can live "together" equitably. While we problem-solve with policy adjustments, his is an honest question and should be answered with insight and care. Interestingly, I noted Kendi, himself, subtly demonstrates an assimilationist attitude (ie when will these blacks learn?...it is the policies not the people ...sigh) He gently scoffs at certain questions from black audience members that are feeling the slow long burn of oppression. Kendi did point out that black people often think the white ice is colder. Good job!
Yes, he is. I wouldn't even know about Professor Kendi if it wasn't for the Seeing White podcast from Scene On Radio. I've been a public radio junkie since 2003 and I've listened to a lot of podcasts, in that time. It's probably the best one I've ever heard, up to this point.
