    We have tons of trails but I believe it has to do with some sort of uci(olimpic) protocol to public/media acess(parking, stands, etc) and safety, mainly security. This pratically excludes all of the natural trails everywhere.. it's diferent from uci world cup...

      The problem for me wasn't with having the power or skills it was the crashes that my body couldn't handle anymore. It seems like I would getting more serious injuries from simple falls and end up taking more trips to the hospital. From all the MRI's I found out that arthritis is in the joints and I'm just not as flexible any more. Not a problem for road biking though. I don't have the lungs to race but I still put on about 200 to 250 miles a week road biking.

  • @JustFrana

    for those of you complaining about the technical elements of the course it's not the builders fault , UCI passed a rule for 2016 that no more gap jumps may be included and that tracks are to be less technical to make room for more climbing ....What they are trying to do is give the riders that are "fitter" the bigger advantage over the more technical riders. I DON'T SUPPORT THIS AT ALL I just wanted to shed some light on why the track is the way it is.
    Cheers

      @dupondavignon869 7 лет назад

      - This circuit does not favor especially those in better physical condition, but the tactical approach. Many rolling passages, where one can benefit from the aspiration and therefore the work of the adversary or team members.
      - Secondly, it favors more powerful runners than explosive runners.
      Do you have the sources of your assumption?

    • @hugohahn2791
      @hugohahn2791 6 лет назад

      JustFrana Then why did I compete at a UCI event in South Africa in 2017, which was extremely technical and had four gap jumps?

    Can a person who uploaded this video, please, enlighten me how it was filmed, edited, and rendered, so that there is no shaking, in spite of the uneven terrain, rocks, jumps, etc. I film my rides with GoPro Hero and the video is never so smooth and sharp. There always is a lot of shaking and blur in the video caused by bumps and speed. Please help me out, I really would appreciate this.

      +RC1986 R I have to agree, but It's for a reason. And the reason is - fans. There will be a LOT of them and organizators made a race track where you can watch the race not just from one tribune but almost everywhere around the track.

  • @luis136
    @luis136 8 лет назад +2

    To much artificial elements, just a fast track, little technical zones just big rocks, no high technical climbs, a flat soft terrain very bad choosen and worked XCO circuit, there´s no excitement to go and watch this race. La brese, Mount sant Anne, Albstadt are XCO Tracks where fans can enjoy a beautiful and highly technical race , but this is a shame for the sport.-
