To sum it up, the strings are beautiful, the first drop is catchy, and the vocals are AMAZING. LIKE SO GOOD. The use of stacked vocals in the 2nd pre-chorus is insane, and just overall its so beautiful

@@pixelatoredm Yeah the vocals are deffo gorgeous cant lie bout that, but the drops just so uninteresting imo it doesnt make me feel anything and also lacks catchiness to make up for it

that second (nikademis?) remix blew me away, i usually dont like riddim either but THAT is an example of what cohesive, phenomenal heavy dubstep should sound like

woahhhh I’ve been enjoying EDM for years and I thought I’d seen pretty much every genre concept, but Dubstep X House????? what?? the melodub switch is also a really nice touch and makes the song absurdly good, best of the EP but not by much

yet another artist that I already knew. when I felt the dubstep coming, I was began to get a little disappointed since I was really hoping that it would be an entirely melodic remix EP. but, the 3rd drop was an absolute redeemer, especially with the vocal chops. I’m not entirely impressed by the dubstep but it’s still a really nice song, and it might just be me but it sounds like the “from worlds away” vocal before the drops was modified

the spoken word was very creative, but the background production is a little too repetitive. the vocal chops help a little but I feel like such a chill remix of such an emotional song just doesn’t work for me. either way, it gets stuck in my head quite a lot so that definitely helps the score.

chill but I don’t have any major complaints, other than wishing that it were a little more experimental. vocals didn’t really take away from it for me.

obviously, these remixes all had some great elements which could’ve been nice to implement into the original, but none of them could beat it of course. I admittedly feel like remixes have a disadvantage by default, since the vocals can’t just suddenly grow on you, and that’s because you’ve already heard them all before. anyway, the original is a 99/100 and it used to be a 100/100, which is a score I only ever give to like 5 songs at a time. great EP, and I probably couldn’t have asked for much more, unless we’re talking about number of songs. I am extremely impressed by anyone who read this entire thing.

Wow, thanks for writing the long comment! I definitely agree with a lot of what you said. The original Worlds Away is a 100/100 for me too, so I agree with what you said about the vocals.
