Did Jesus interact with non-Jews? This question is harder to answer than you might think! Although Jesus was Jewish and his ministry was directed toward Israel, he did interact with a few people outside of his Jewish culture. In this episode, Jeff discovers the profound and even controversial message Jesus had regarding how his followers should treat those who were non-Jews.
Jeff visits biblical Samaria (today's "Occupied Territories") to learn about the location where Jesus met the woman at the well. While there, he discovers the long biblical history of the area and learns about where the Samaritans originated and who they represented in the 1st Century.
Jeff then travels 'the road to Jericho' and pays a visit to the Good Samaritan Museum to learn about the few non-Jews Jesus interacted with. What was Jesus' message about the Samaritans? How did Jesus want us to treat each other?

In 1985 First Century Foundations (formerly ‘Operation Outreach’) was founded by Rev. Clyde and Marion Williamson and birthed out of prayer and a burning desire to bless the land and people of Israel through the love of God. Since then, the organization has grown to include teaching believers about the Hebraic roots of Christianity, expanding this message to digital media and reaching out to those who do not yet know Christ. In 2020, the vision was enlarged again and First Century Foundations USA was launched to bring the same challenge for prayer and blessing the land and people of Israel to partners in the United States.
