I traveled to Singapore on a business trip when I worked for Microsoft about 20 years ago. I remember doing this night safari back then and it was amazing. My favorite part was the fruit bat enclosure. I remember them flying over our heads where we’d look up and could only see their silhouettes. It was kinda spooky, but so incredibly cool!! Once in a lifetime experience for sure.
Thanks for sharing that! I agree it's incredibly cool and a lifetime experience. I've never been anywhere like it. Such a great chance to see nocturnal animals in their element. The fruit bats are fascinating. I couldn't believe our luck when the lion started roaring. I'm curious if you did any of the other things we did in Singapore? Like a hawker centre or Little India? Here are the other videos we made in Singapore if you'd like to see: bit.ly/singaporeplaylist. We'll be sharing more Singapore videos as well :)
Hey Kevin! haha I'm glad you and Marc agree on that ;) We just couldn't believe our luck at the lion roaring and moving around like that. Usually they're asleep in the zoo when we've seen them! The night safari is such a cool place.
Glad you had such a great time! Agree the night safari is fantastic and quite unique. What else did you enjoy in Singapore? Would love to hear any recommendations. We made other videos about Singapore (and more on the way!) if you'd like to see - they're here: bit.ly/singaporeplaylist :)

Hey Ben! Thank you so much for your amazing support and welcome to our channel! ❤️ It makes us happy to know you enjoyed this video. The night safari in Singapore is truly a unique spot and, as you can tell, we loved the opportunity to see all these animals at nighttime. Hope you have a great weekend 😊

hahah thank you for pointing out Roger Federer, Michael! 😂 And, no, we hadn't noticed! 😉 Happy to hear you're adding this to your list too! The cool breeze of the tram ride was very welcome at the end of a sightseeing day as well. Let us know how you like it ❤️
Marc I know what you mean, that lion didn't look real at first glance! lol Probably not used to seeing "creatures of the night" ( yes love the title) in such setting. Very cool guys!
Hey Scott! We were NOT expecting the lion to put a show like that. Couldn't believe our luck that he was not only up active and up but then started roaring like that! Pinch myself moment 🦁
That was fun to see the armadillo with its rapid little walk/run 😄. I'm a nocturnal myself. Infact, I hadn't seen but a opossum got into my condo once, as I live in wooded areas, but anyway, it was in there for 3 nights, I had figured out. He or she probably thought, "I got into the wrong place, as this one is always up". Long story short, I saw something thinking a big rat, called the cops (late at night) and he came and got it in my laundry room. It was a funny story, and probably better told, then writing, as the story is longer, and quite funny 😁
hahah oh dear, Gina, that is a funny story! I love the idea that the possum was confused by your night owl habits 🤣 I also loved the little armadillo by the way...his little legs were going so fast! 😆
@@EileenAldis Spent two days in Singapore, en route to NZ, back in 2001. The humidity was incredible. So was the food... Still searching for a Satay sauce to equal the one we got there.....
Ok important question here: do you consider yourself a night owl or an early bird? (I'm a night owl 🦉)
100% I am early bird 🐦 , I love to waking up early and listening to nature come to life…amazing.
Night Owl, 100% 🦉. It's nearly 2am here
@@ewaannah9287 That sounds amazing to me too, Ewa! But it definitely doesn't come naturally to some of us 😂
@@highmm2696 haha that qualifies! 😉
Hello fellow night owl! LOL I'm up so late even the hooters themselves probably hit the sack before I do!
The lion looked Simmba though😮
Definitely like a movie!

Awesome, Joanna! It’s a great way to end the day in Singapore. Let me know what you think 😊
A night safari ride sounds amazingly cool to do and see/experience. The lion really does look a bit like something of animatronics vs real life.

We also went there on January last...... This is one of the most thrilling rides according to me out of all the rides done in Singapore

When two tapirs are on the road, they form a zebra crossing and they have the right of way!
😂
Looked like an awesome adventure with some beautiful animals. I bet you felt the power in the lions calls. Loved the video. ❤

Can you ride the tram twice?
I don't see why not but I'm not sure if both journeys would be included in a single ticket.
🙋👏🙂👍
Hi Adnan! Hope you enjoyed! New video very soon 😁

Always like hearing long ago animal fables, and their characters' have not changed...eat given food
don't be greedy. Honest signs of life on earth.
