    Awesome stuff. I live in Newfoundland, Canada. I was recently out on a family owned beach and found a fossil. First time seeing one there, but I had never looked before. Since then I've found dozens. They're everywhere

    Was down at Cayton Bay yesterday and stumbled across some small fossils on a small bit of flat rock on the beach! AND found a round nodule at Robin Hoods Bay beach today! We opened it up and that too has small ammonite fossils inside (we’re getting it prepared by a professional)! You’ve inspired me to have a small interest in palaeontology and geology because of your videos! Keep it up lads! 😁

    To this day, fresh, unfossilized dino bones are being found along the Colville River at the North Slope of Alaska. The first discovery took place in 1967 by Robert L. Liscomb, a petroleum geologist working for Shell Oil Company.

      Any one - within reason - though there are rules about some sites - which are essentially no hammering the bedrock

      As mentioned, some sites have rules which are different to other sites, so before collecting fossils in any area you should check to be sure

      That would depend where you are hunting, but you can grab fossils pretty much anywhere.

      Phragmocone - "What is the phragmocone of belemnite?
      The phragmocone records the growth stages of the animal, the juvenile belemnite would have started life in the protoconch and the final chamber housed the animal until death. As the animal grew it would move into successively larger chambers, sealing off the discarded chamber behind it."
