Because, his intentions may be good, but that doesn’t justify murder, no matter who it is, and the others are all concerned (amongst other things) that Solar would be upset/horrified to find out that someone was _permanently erased from existence_ in exchange for bringing him back, even if it is Ruin, Blood Moon or Eclipse. Yes, they want Solar back (and I do too), but not at the cost of someone else’s life, even if it is an enemy.
To be fair, they’ve already accepted his death, and Eclipse did say that he’d found an alternative way to get him back without killing anyone. If he was telling the truth, he could always tell them and not have to make a sacrifice to do so. Moon knows that Eclipse potentially had another way, and didn’t even bother to ask what it was. He just went with the option where he gets to off somebody, because he’s still trying to fix past Moon’s mistakes, even though he’s the one who believes he has to and the others have even said it wasn’t down to him to do. I don’t want to continue this any further though, because it doesn’t matter what I say, we’re going to have different opinions and going back and forth about whether or not Moon’s right isn’t going to go anywhere. This reminds me of the saying "don't ask for permission, ask for forgiveness", moon's plan (from the added information of this video) is to bring Solar back and then beg his loved ones for forgiveness. Moon's mindset is very clearly flawed as this is ment to apply to small things, this is an interesting example of how mental illness can affect a person's intelligence and reasoning. Moon in a clear (or as close to clear as he can get lol) headspace would know that this plan was doomed for the start, even taking his morals out of the question.

I'm impressed with myself that I managed to know which Moon was talking throughout this, I struggled much more with their last talk. It makes sense that it's hard to tell though, with Reed playing them both and they're meant to be the same character with the same voice. Anyway, it's good that Old Moon is telling New Moon he's being an idiot. Hopefully New Moon will stop soon, he doesn't even want to be doing this from the sound of it. It hurts so much that New Moon wants to bring Solar back and then completely disappear from everyone's lives. He knows they're all going to be mad and he doesn't want to face them. I hope Sun can get to him soon because I think if New Moon physically can't keep trying to do what he's doing, he'll eventually manage to calm down and admit he's messing everything up worse.
I appreciate the rather wholesome and comedic moment Sun had towards the end of this video. It was certainly a nice change of pace compared to what was going on on Moon's end. Although Sun really needs to put his plan into action soon before Moon does whatever he's going to do.

mmmm..... new moon having a psychotic episode just like sunrise did way back when... mmm... tbh thats the main reason sunrise is trying to help NM - hes been there and done that and it ended badly also theres a slight thing about this episode - NM sees OM without going into his head with the machine monty built, which means one of two things is happening: A: NM is hallucinating OM, and OM is just the figure that is NM's conscious, or B: by visiting OM, NM(and by extension monty for enabling NM) actually reawaked OM and hes a regular ai again and is just projecting himself in NM's vision im gonna go with option A, since i doubt OM would actually say half of this to NM - to be honest i dont think OM cares about anything anymore, nothing on the outside can really hurt him.

I don't know if the Sun and Moon Show will read or even see this comment, but I just want to say a few things to each of the characters. I have always wanted to join the Sun and Moon show channel. My oc for the Sun and Moon Show is Joybow (Joy for short), a female DJ animatronic with rainbow irises, Rainbow petals around her head in a similar manner to Sun's rays. She has powers that revolve around kindness and healing those who are hurt in the mind and emotions. When her kindness powers activate, her pupils disappear and her eyes glow a bright pink color. She also loses the ability to talk, only communicating with hand gestures and/or sign language. During her kindness state, she gives physical comfort like crazy, like hugging, back rubbing, wiping away a victim's tears if they were crying, and all sorts of physical comfort as she is unable to provide verble comfort. I don't know if I will ever be able to join the Sun and Moon Show channel and frankly, I don't really care right now. I care about right now is giving my favorite characters that words they need to pull through their rough times. Anyways, enough about me. Time for my say. Earth, you were and always have been a huge inspiration for so many people, both to your family and to people in the outside world who watch videos on your channel. When Sun was struggling with everything that happened when you first met him, you were willing to be the help he needs. As you can see, you really changed Sun for the better. He seems to be more open with you and everyone else in your family. I know everything Moon said to you when you confronted him was painful for you, but I just want you to know that you are not alone in what you are going through. Don't forget that you still have Sun, Lunar, Jack, Monty, and all of us on your side and we are willing to support you. Ever since you opened up about your insecurities in that cat mario video, I realized just how much you're struggling right now and I am willing to help you in any way I can. You were especially the biggest inspiration to me and for that, I will return the favor of being the biggest inspiration to you by telling you this. Crying and feeling hurt isn't a sign of you being weak, garbage, or bad in any way. It just means that you have been strong for far too long and just can't take it anymore. If she wants to be alone, Please respect her boundaries and give her some space if she wants some. She is your sister, Lunar. She cares about you and Sun more than anything in the world. You're not alone anymore. Personally, I am very proud of how far you have come. Sun, when I first saw you and Moon's channel, I was a little nervous. I first discoverd your channel through animations and overtime, I became obbsesed with your channel and it's story and eventually, I grew brave to watch your videos on your channel. As you can see, I did not regret that choice one bit. You have gone through so much just to be here. From the old Moon punching you in the face to Solar's death to Moon going insane, you still choose to be there for family no matter what stands in your way or what tries to stop you. I just want to tell you how proud I am of you that you choose to be there with your family and how you choose to stick with them, even in the hardest and darkest of times in your life. I'm also proud that you are not denying the fact that Solar's death and going crazy over it like Moon did. Instead, you accepted Solar's death and are willing to seek help through Earth to recover from it. You have clearly improved a lot ever since your channel started and ever since the old Moon died. I am so sorry that you currently have to go through so much in just a short amount of time. Just know that you have so many people around you that love and care about you like a real human being and not just a lifeless robot with no feelings. I'm impressed with myself that I managed to know which Moon was talking throughout this, I struggled much more with their last talk. It makes sense that it's hard to tell though, with Reed playing them both and they're meant to be the same character with the same voice.
Anyway, it's good that Old Moon is telling New Moon he's being an idiot. Hopefully New Moon will stop soon, he doesn't even want to be doing this from the sound of it.
It hurts so much that New Moon wants to bring Solar back and then completely disappear from everyone's lives. He knows they're all going to be mad and he doesn't want to face them.
I hope Sun can get to him soon because I think if New Moon physically can't keep trying to do what he's doing, he'll eventually manage to calm down and admit he's messing everything up worse.

They died because SOMEONE KILLED them so I don’t think that’s fair to them. If there’s a bunch of ways to bring someone you love back, of course you would do it. That’s what Moon is trying to do. Though stopping and taking Eclipses plan to bring Solar back would be better.

Done with the video, and I greatly apologize to everyone for how serious my comments have been getting recently ever since Solar died. All in honesty, I love giving off my opinions and what I think is going to happen along with making theories. I love interacting with some of the other fans too (you guys) and love hearing what y’all think too. tbh thats the main reason sunrise is trying to help NM - hes been there and done that and it ended badly
also theres a slight thing about this episode - NM sees OM without going into his head with the machine monty built, which means one of two things is happening:
A: NM is hallucinating OM, and OM is just the figure that is NM's conscious, or
B: by visiting OM, NM(and by extension monty for enabling NM) actually reawaked OM and hes a regular ai again and is just projecting himself in NM's vision
im gonna go with option A, since i doubt OM would actually say half of this to NM - to be honest i dont think OM cares about anything anymore, nothing on the outside can really hurt him.

I don't know if the Sun and Moon Show will read or even see this comment, but I just want to say a few things to each of the characters. I have always wanted to join the Sun and Moon show channel. My oc for the Sun and Moon Show is Joybow (Joy for short), a female DJ animatronic with rainbow irises, Rainbow petals around her head in a similar manner to Sun's rays. She has powers that revolve around kindness and healing those who are hurt in the mind and emotions. When her kindness powers activate, her pupils disappear and her eyes glow a bright pink color. She also loses the ability to talk, only communicating with hand gestures and/or sign language. During her kindness state, she gives physical comfort like crazy, like hugging, back rubbing, wiping away a victim's tears if they were crying, and all sorts of physical comfort as she is unable to provide verble comfort. I don't know if I will ever be able to join the Sun and Moon Show channel and frankly, I don't really care right now. I care about right now is giving my favorite characters that words they need to pull through their rough times. Anyways, enough about me. Time for my say.
Earth, you were and always have been a huge inspiration for so many people, both to your family and to people in the outside world who watch videos on your channel. When Sun was struggling with everything that happened when you first met him, you were willing to be the help he needs. As you can see, you really changed Sun for the better. He seems to be more open with you and everyone else in your family. I know everything Moon said to you when you confronted him was painful for you, but I just want you to know that you are not alone in what you are going through. Don't forget that you still have Sun, Lunar, Jack, Monty, and all of us on your side and we are willing to support you. Ever since you opened up about your insecurities in that cat mario video, I realized just how much you're struggling right now and I am willing to help you in any way I can. You were especially the biggest inspiration to me and for that, I will return the favor of being the biggest inspiration to you by telling you this. Crying and feeling hurt isn't a sign of you being weak, garbage, or bad in any way. It just means that you have been strong for far too long and just can't take it anymore. I hope that these words reach you and help you understand that even a thearapsit like you needs guidence in one way or another. You have a heart of gold, Earth. Never give up on your family or on yourself. Stay strong. Never tell yourself that your worthless or that your stupid, because that is not true. You are Earth. Just Earth. The Earth that saves minds and emotions with her guidence and care.
Lunar, you are one of my favorite characters in the whole channel. Your sweet, caring, cute, and funny. I love you so much and feel bad about all you have been through. Despite all the garbage you went through in your life, you are still so loving and caring towards your siblings, espeically Earth. As you saw in the cat mario video, she is currently struggling right now and needs her baby brother now, more than ever. She was and still is there for you through your hardest moments. Through everything. Your cheerful and supportive aura even helped my mental state quite a bit. Your support might even be stronger then Earth's now that I think about it. Don't you dare get too cocky, though. Earth was still pretty supportive. I only ask you to do one thing for me, Lunar. Please take care of Earth and be there for her whenever you can. Sun, when I first saw you and Moon's channel, I was a little nervous. I first discoverd your channel through animations and overtime, I became obbsesed with your channel and it's story and eventually, I grew brave to watch your videos on your channel. As you can see, I did not regret that choice one bit. You have gone through so much just to be here. From the old Moon punching you in the face to Solar's death to Moon going insane, you still choose to be there for family no matter what stands in your way or what tries to stop you. I just want to tell you how proud I am of you that you choose to be there with your family and how you choose to stick with them, even in the hardest and darkest of times in your life. I'm also proud that you are not denying the fact that Solar's death and going crazy over it like Moon did. Instead, you accepted Solar's death and are willing to seek help through Earth to recover from it. You have clearly improved a lot ever since your channel started and ever since the old Moon died. I am so sorry that you currently have to go through so much in just a short amount of time. Just know that you have so many people around you that love and care about you like a real human being and not just a lifeless robot with no feelings. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and if you look closely enough, the light will become clearer and clearer. And please, I'm begging you, Don't make the same mistakes that Moon is making, otherwise you will just keep falling into a deep, dark hole until you have no way to crawl out of it.
