To think this bag came together by "accident" too. We had found that slow side material and loved it and then in a text conversation I just threw out the fast side combo to go with it. But even then, the owner wasn't completely sold on his design. Glad we rolled with it! haha

@@MikesBags Have a set now, the gold limited series and I love them. For some reason, I'm still finding myself wanting a set of Vipers...this probably has a lot to do with the recent tournaments over the last few weeks with many players using them. For a player who likes the Dead Head, what would you recommend in a Viper, if at all? I know you're fond of the Black Sheep Costello's, would you recommend them over a Viper comp/Dead Head comp? Sorry for all the questions- appreciate your content!
The Viper is a great compliment bag to the Dead Head. They both have the same fast side, similar template and fill. The only difference is the slow side material. The Viper is faster on the slow side. The Dead Heads weakness is humidity and the Viper plays well in humidity. I think the two bags fit well together. If you can wait a little over a week, I have a review coming out for a bag that's very similar to the Viper but cheaper and may be better. Just something to think about. Should have that review up next weekend.
