My favorite song from Dave Mira BMX 2 video game. What a time to be alive. I’m always grateful to have grown up in the late 90 and early 2000 when music was at its peak and technology was forming
Godddddd the fucking memories. Coming home after school and blaring Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 through my box tv so I could jam to this song and all the others on there..... Miss those days
saw them a few months ago here in Florida, after having discovered them 2 years ago..the entire band signed my hat and i took pictures with them..their videos are on my page..safe to say..i felt really lucky and blessed :)
girl at 0:24 and 1:52 is really enjoying herself, just being a teenager and not having a care in her life. i wonder how she is now, probably with kids and all serious kkk. gosh i miss the late 90´s and early 2000´s,miss being a kid eheheh
I dunno why u guys are complaining I think that if u just forget the studio version and judge this live performance, it sounds good overall. His voice isnt cracking at all, the guitar playing is well done.
Does anybody manage to recognize what bass-guitar Adam Lewis is playin' in this clip? Or does anybody know what bass he used at the recording of their February 2000 released full-length "Fenix TX"? I love that sound (not as good noticeable in this youtube-vid than on the recorded version).
I've noticed a lot of people on here are nostalgic and wish for bands that are a lot like the bands that were popular when Fenix TX came out...I agree, bands like Mayday Parade and All Time Low don't cut it...I thought All Time Low's EP was pretty good, and Mayday Parade's EP and first album had some good songs too...but I just like bands like Set Your Goals and Four Year Strong a lot more...the one band I've found that is similar to this sound is Farewell
Awesome video! HAvin trouble singing the high notes. I think the 2nd guitarist at this point was Damon... his mic isn't even on. Wtf. Good fucking video and performance.
There is no way people who actually listen to this kind of music rock out like the way those goobers in the background are rocking out. This is an insult to such an awesome band.
ALL time low will never be as good as the surf punk that came out of california in the late 90s (just like these guys) Ergo, you have issues if you think All time Low has the same or similar sound
I've heard that the more melodic pop punk kinda songs of the "Lechuza" album were written by vocalist Will Salazar (like "Phoebe Cates", "Tearjerker", "A Song for Everyone"), while the other portion consisted of songs from other members who wanted to go more in a hardcore direction (probably "Beating a Dead Horse", "Something Bad is Gonna Happen" amongst others). I think that's what makes the album quite incoherent. I usually tend to skip the more aggressive songs.
Joshua S. i agree completely its as if they where halfway through writing a perfect pop punk album and then decided to shove a bunch of bs wanna be hardcore songs on there u can really hear the multiple directions the band member wanted to go. if only they stayed pop punk and continued making music
@@ScoopedUp honestly I actually enjoy the harder songs. “Something Bad” is hella fun. That being said I do think the more melodic and poppy tracks are stronger
Man I'm 33 been single for years... I wish I could find a chick and she see inside my car and be amazed at what cds are in there. From autumn to ashes. Fenix tx. Mcr. Blink. Heavy Heavy Low Low. The devil wears prada. Gobsmack. Bad omens. Within the ruins. Dashboard confessional. Dave melillo. Ugh. It'll never happen that I meet a girl who likes that shit. But I can wish
Man, he's really struggling to hit the higher notes. It's funny, cuz I started singing this just before looking it up. I failed hard; it was like 13% worse than this. I do miss this band though.
No they are not...I wish they did, buts alot of internal bullshit among themselves. Lechuza ruined the band even though its a good album the making ruined them. Theres alot of beef between members and the one who started it will not get off his high horse cause he's a "musician" now and thinks pop punk is behind him. Bullshit right?
Rip Adam thank you for the great memories brother
The first concert I ever saw was in 1999...Fenix TX, Bad Religion, Blink 182. Epic.
that must have been a great show!!
Yeah that sounds sick as hell lol
I saw that lineup! Almost died in the pit...lost one of my favorite shoes - a leopard print creeper. Miss that time a lot.
I was at the tour in Minneapolis. 6/12/00z epic
Saw that lineup in May 2000, Stanhope, NJ. My first punk show
oh how I miss the late 90's and early 00's haha
Exactly why I still listen to all these types of bands, way better than the shite now

No phones. I miss those days.
That redhead at 0:24 singing and dancing ❤
This brings memories that I will never forget…
Godddddd the fucking memories. Coming home after school and blaring Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 through my box tv so I could jam to this song and all the others on there..... Miss those days
Love this song. Great band. Miss this type of rock.
Man, i miss those times with great music.
saw them a few months ago here in Florida, after having discovered them 2 years ago..the entire band signed my hat and i took pictures with them..their videos are on my page..safe to say..i felt really lucky and blessed :)
15 years later and still rocking it...
Great words of wisdom at the very end there
Esa pelirroja del fondo; la mueve y la canta hermosamente.

Awesome band, they should try a reunion, just like Blink did....
14 years later, they performed at We Were Young in Vegas!
Their bass player just passed away.
Lol i remember when i had sideburns like that. We all did
I love this song ❤
I remember back in the early 2000s when I first heard this

2018 and still listening. \m/
Me too :)
2024 and still rocking to these guys. I'm 38 😅
@hotdogsplinter Because recorded vocals are compressed, tuned and have various effects on them.
This is what I appreciate!

@Trail717 thats what i fuckin think, i mean 1999 was like yesterday and now is eleven years ago
There is no way people who actually listen to this kind of music rock out like the way those goobers in the background are rocking out. This is an insult to such an awesome band.
Pure rock fury
nice
my youthful
what television show were they performing on?
Fox family
love the song, love the band... but damn, look at all those little girls boppin'. haha.
Just seen the original bassist Adam Lewis passed 😢
@hotdogsplinter
'cause he's trying to give the vocals his own live-touch.
i like the original melody of vocals on the album version a lot more, too.
im pleasantly surprised by this band....crowds lame though but thats what uve gotta expect when playing a show for "fox family" lol
ALL time low will never be as good as the surf punk that came out of california in the late 90s (just like these guys) Ergo, you have issues if you think All time Low has the same or similar sound

11 years ago mate! feels old now?
Fox Family? lol And was the audience told to dress like they were crazy?
the first concert i went to was bad religion, fenix tx, blink 182.
vocals are disappointing here. not sure why bands ever made songs they cant sing
Were they forced to dance at gunpoint or what? Doesnt look natural.
TheMentalRelapse lmao now I have a whole new image in my head about this performance
+TheMentalRelapse White people.
@hotdogsplinter at least not TERRIBLE vocals, right?.... could be like some other bands...
Man, he's really struggling to hit the higher notes. It's funny, cuz I started singing this just before looking it up. I failed hard; it was like 13% worse than this. I do miss this band though.
They were fucking good live eh?! Too bad the sound quality sucks but fuck could these guys play!
That crowd is fake. Fo show
they wear trousers wtf
thought they wear pants and shirts
it looks like fake dancing
I'm ashamed for their audience....
No they are not...I wish they did, buts alot of internal bullshit among themselves. Lechuza ruined the band even though its a good album the making ruined them.
