Good call bro, thankfully Amil was Alex’s best bet and he gave us the alpha and confidence to make him a play 🔒 I was personally on Lee, but this is the benefit of having multiple minds on a fight, leave no stone unturned 🧃
@@PurePicksMMA oh yeah that's for sure. I like to really mix it up. I must have missed this video. I haven't got through yours yet so maybe you commented on that already. Good luck this weekend!
Manel Kape's been training with people way.... above Muhammed M. in wrestling at Team Couture and Khabib's Team for most of 2024 including this for this fight. I think its a huge mistake to take M. Mokaev this fight.
Understand where you’re coming from, but Kape gives me the same vibes as Alex Perez. Both guys rarely make weight, shows their lack of commitment and dedication to the game.
Perhaps I could have used better terms, as he has technically missed weight once. The second time he pulled out against Nicolau was due to an injury, however that can be tied back to his difficulty in cutting down to 125. Kape has a huge weight cut as he walks around much larger than 125. Kape is more prone to not making the fight as he has to deal with either missing weight or getting injured. This is all recently as well, which we have to judge on as MMA is all about what have you done for me lately and updating your resume. For example, although Perez was starting to become more active, all those years of missing weight/getting injured is more likely to catch up to up, like when he blew out his knee v. Taira. I understand that Kape has had to deal with the majority of his opponents also pulling out, but in recent years he has also slipped down that path and it shows me that he lacks that dedication.
im kind of 50/50 on the leon defeating belal, leon edwards lacks the killer instinct which is why his fights goes the distance, he coastes too much. leon only awakens his killer instincts only if he's losing and i truly believe leon can finish belal inside 3 rounds if he awakens that killer instinct in him. belal on the other hand gotta alot on his plate with leon and i don't think he's skilled enough to get the win even with his relentless pressure and takedowns on leon that's if he gets any
Fair points you make, if you believe that Leon is more of a 50/50 to defeat Belal, do you see the value of Belal at +218 ML? I personally believe that the first fight showed me that Belal will not be able to do much to Leon early in the fight and that an early finish from Leon is a possibility. Later in the fight Leon does tend to coast and tire out, however by then he is usually up rounds on his opponent and the decision is already made up in his favor. To me Belal is not in the same class as Usman and if Usman could not defeat Leon in their trilogy fight, I have doubts that Belal will achieve that using a similar approach.
