I never missed Mathew when he was actively touring, he hit St Louis quite often and let me say, he was so kind and generous, really connected with his fans. His band mates were also very nice. Mathew is very underrated, but I think this humble beautiful person preferred it that way. ❤❤ to you Mathew
Great version. Like with Echo & The Bunnymen's "Rust" and Jackson Browne's "In the Shape of a Heart", I could sing this song and every word would be true for me. The world needs more artists like Matthew Sweet.
i'm sorry comments are turned off on all of his videos on his channel. but i understand. i think this album compares favorably with the beach boys or the beatles. it's a masterpiece. select other songs are as worthy of praise. wherever you are, i hope you are well.
One of the greatest albums ever made
Matthew Sweet is massively underrated.

One of my favorite Matthew Sweet songs, I think its better acoustic. Incredible harmonies and melody.

This sweet song can break the right girl down ending in lots of hugs...the right girl.
Great song. Awesome version
Matthew Sweet rocks!
Very nice acoustic version of Winona
Perfect.

Really glad they let that poor singer out of the handcuffs halfway through the song!
