Can't wait to see the finished product. Working on my second comp chassis build, first one went well aside from not having super 8's and having to wait on injora spacers since most stock axle shock mounts are too narrow for this chassis. Only axles I could get to work were the injora +4's and rc4wd portals as they had the space to run spacers w/o conflicting with the knuckles. May pick up some super 8's if they ever come back in stock but so far, liking the injora's. One will be a portal rig and the other straight axle. Btw, love the channel man, been watching a bunch of your builds here at work to pass the time :)
Thanks for tuning in! Man I hope LGRP gets me all sorted. First time I’ve ha any issues with their products. I’m really enjoying the comp frame build so far. Really like that frame kit. I feel you on these axles… so hard to get em in stock. I still have 1 remaining set of S8s in brass to do something with… we’ll see.
Holy shit, I have the fireplace kicking! damn. That sounds like this last summer here in Texas. So hot, too hot to crawl most of it. Stay cool brother!
Yeah I'm really hard on my stuff and I can't I kept breaking them EXO shafts non-stop like to the point I reached out to him and they replaced a couple and then they sent me a new set and they're like here check out these we have beef them up some it was really cool of them to do that cuz they're definitely not cheap
Holy shite! I can’t believe you snapped the EXOs. Great they got you fixed up. Did you remove the outer axle bearings when you installed them? - that would prevent them from turning to the 55degrees.
I have that transmission that’s what’s on the ripper build didn’t have any problems with binding on mine I would say little guy will replace that for u especially the money u spend with them
Yeah, they responded about the cage immediately, then sent pics, then nothing all day long... we shall see. Also emailed them about the MR24 shortly after those emails. guess they went to lunch early and never came back... lol. I bet they make it right though.
About a month ago I built a LGRP Ultra 24. Upon running, the cage frame cracked so easily. The tinniest tumbles and it would crack. Started gluing it with CA glue, but became pointless. Ive had other 3D printed cages, that were not this brittle. Im curious if the LGRP cage frame you just built has durability issues?
This one seems very stout. Mine was a bit warped and super sturdy when trying to flex it. Luckily they sent me a replacement cage. This may not be the same plastic or something. Of course, have not driven it yet obviously.
Very surprising to me indeed. Hope they will get me sorted. Their products are typically top notch from all that o have used. That trans is a head scratcher… the cage, I get… things happen. Cheers!
From what I've seen, LGRP has amazing quality of parts fit'n'finish, but their transmission has some bad reviews. I'm not into printed cages. I'd like to see aluminum and less cluttered crowded cages. Maybe not possible, works on 1/10 and 1/1, but when taken down to 1/24 it just seems so tight and cluttered, if that makes any sense. 🫤
Yeah, not sure the deal on that Trans. I ultimately got it smooth as butter, but it shouldn’t have taken that much attention/work to get it smooth. Still hoping it was a fluke run in production. I may try one again down the line. I did pick up the X-Factor cage set/frame to build. I agree on the tightness of them. They look great, but I mean we still have to put a battery in (and out optimally) of that cage!! Cheers!
Love little guy kits but lord they got a million parts to put together 👍
Hell yeah! It’s like putting a model together. Love it.

I got to get back to finishing this build up!

Yeah, they’ve got a new black center spacer (for MR24) coming and a new cage. Great customer service! The spacer on that trans was mis-machined.
😅keen to see this warped cage

Thanks for the feedback.
Who makes that stand? I have one and can’t for the life of me remember where I got it🤦🏻♂️ I need more🤣
Haha, it’s Ramp Crab on Amazon.
Not a good start for little guy racing !!
