@@juliusjames5577 it’s funny you just replied to this. Just got home from work sitting down in front of the tv messing around with my calls. Couldn’t do it when I posted above, but in practicing with my mouth calls before turkey season I realized that determination wasn’t goin to get it done. ITS ALL ABOUT THE CALL ITSELF. I’ve found a two reed combo or a two reed bat wing cut call give you that sound.

I'm gonna have to try that technique out! I just got a Hook Hunter call the other day off Primos and I'm obviously still struggling with everything haha. I can get part of the way on most the calls, but I can't seem to touch a purr yet. I'll be trying this for sure! Thanks for the quick, concise video. Much appreciated.

This is just a personal tip because he didnt say it, but when you to it try to let your tongue stay limp but still on top of your mouth
