Can't believe how subjective people are being. I don't enjoy all of Squires humour, however it obviously pleases a large amount of people, an audience of probably 200,000 odd majority young males. We're talking a rather large portion of young people who have an interest in military history, damn well important to include them really. So it's very surprising to see a few people acting nasty because they didn't like this chaps humour. It feels out of place for what should be a friendly welcoming channel.

matt French defenders in France???? How absurd.... The British should have most definitely had stood still and waged battle in a country that just got steamrolled by the wehrmacht. Doesn't make sense that they would tactically withdraw in order to defend their own country and come back and save the French at a later date.
Great! =) The Tetrarch is one of my favorite tanks in War Thunder =) I don't know how realistic their modelling of the tank is. In there the turret turns bloody slow. But since you can turn the whole tank really fast just using the tracks that doesn't really matter much. And it's fast as a lightning in there. Of course its reverse is typically british (aka non-existing)... Its solid shot rounds isn't too bad for the tanks it faces at that battle rating, As for the real world, I imagine that it would have been a decent tank for the early war. Relatively cheap to make, don't require a large crew. Fast to move around to flank enemy tanks. And quite a few of the german tanks where panzer 1 and panzer 2s anyway. Also, it's so bloody small that you can hide it pretty much anywhere. And as we all know, the one who gets the first shot usually wins in a tank battle, and the tetrarch can move into positions the enemy don't expect and then hide there probably giving it that advantage quite often. Of course once it *does* get shot by anything with real armor-penetration it doesn't stand much of a chance with its "paper" armor...
Luredreier, the Tetrarch got used mainly for amphibious invasions and airborne operations as far as I know, it was just a tank to have a tank, not something useful against other tanks.

Finally, a video where I actually learn something. Today I’ve learned that Tiger tanks are a massive engineering flaw. The smaller the tank, the better. British and Americans make the best couples. France..... And concrete is the best armour.

He is a parody in extreme exaggeration of some of the thinking process that the British had during the war and that was obsolete for the times. To be fair the Bison was intended to go up against lightly armed paratchutists to whom "A pillbox, but it can chase you" would probably have been terrifying. For any purpose beyond this it's obviously less useful than a WWI armored car, but, like the Bob Semple Tank, it would have probably worked well enough for its actual intended role, had it ever been asked to do it. When you don't have to contend with enemy armor or heavy weapons, "Stops rifle bullets, shoots rifle bullets, can move around" gets the job done well enough.

And as we all know, the one who gets the first shot usually wins in a tank battle, and the tetrarch can move into positions the enemy don't expect and then hide there probably giving it that advantage quite often.
Of course once it *does* get shot by anything with real armor-penetration it doesn't stand much of a chance with its "paper" armor...
Luredreier, the Tetrarch got used mainly for amphibious invasions and airborne operations as far as I know, it was just a tank to have a tank, not something useful against other tanks.

I'm not sure what's funnier the video itself or people who don't know Squire angry because of his ''bias'' or lack of ''technical'' info in the video.
He is a parody in extreme exaggeration of some of the thinking process that the British had during the war and that was obsolete for the times.

The War Thunder community is generally filled with some pretty smart people.
To be fair the Bison was intended to go up against lightly armed paratchutists to whom "A pillbox, but it can chase you" would probably have been terrifying. For any purpose beyond this it's obviously less useful than a WWI armored car, but, like the Bob Semple Tank, it would have probably worked well enough for its actual intended role, had it ever been asked to do it. When you don't have to contend with enemy armor or heavy weapons, "Stops rifle bullets, shoots rifle bullets, can move around" gets the job done well enough.
Squire was doing a bit of satire to some of teh tanks, like he does on his own channel. Enjoyed this a lot and I love Squire's channel.
