- In this video, I show you how the factory reset made a damage to my keyboard and I appreciate it if you share your opinions about it.
Solution to the sound problem:
Like you see in the Video, the balance Slider is the way to the top. I noticed that the factory reset makes this parameter to "Acc/Sng - RT/Kbd Balance". This means the audio problems that I described in the video, have nothing to do with the broken LEDs. I could not hear the accompaniment tracks because after the factory reset and based on the position of the Balance Slider, I had set the volume of the real-time track to maximum and "ACC/Sng" to zero.
I just used the Global --/ General Controls --/ Interface and there I changed the settings for Balance Slider to "ACC/Sng Volume".
I am happy that I could eventually understand the reason for the audio problems which had nothing to do with the broken LEDs. Moreover, I received the blue LEDs and replaced them and now my device works as it is supposed to.

Tks one of rhe problems I have is ( after the keyboard has been on for an hour OS so the slider for the bass guitar wii hot work properly. It doesn’t go from 0 to 127 as it should. It goes about from maybe to about 80. And it is the same if I use the wheel or the plus/minus buttons. But it works fine as I turn on the machine and after about an hour or so this happens without warning. Any help with this problem would be appreciated
Also another problem is ( as I go in the style edit mode and then try to exit edit mode the korg PA2x Pro freezes ) I then have to restart the machine. Any help would be appreciated
Another issue is the led light for the memory stopped working . How hard is it to replace. Tks
This seems to be a hardware problem of your slider but I can't say it for sure. Do you have the latest released firmware version installed on your device?

Hi my pa2x pro has the problem that my pa2x pro takes to long to start line 40-50 minutes, and when it starts it works but everything with delay 13seconds, i try to format it like 30times but is it not working? HELP!?
What to doo when it is like frozen? If you understand. I'm playing but no one button is working. When turning off and on its normal 10min, and get frozen again, but riythm is working and the colours...

Keyboard just freezes
hola saludos, yo unos años tengo el Pa2x Pro pero ahora me falló el boton STAR/STOP, no puedo hacer sonar los acompañamientos, junto al botón STYLE PLAY que tambien esta apagado, y se apagaron los Led... quisiera reiniciarlo, pero como tu lo haces, no esta en la pantalla el archivo Format.... porfavor ayuda....muchas gracias
Hi, maybe you have hardware problem but if you want a factory reset, check the documentation of the keyboard which you can find free on the internet. I do not have this keyboard anymore. Good luck.

Today I just replaced those three broken LEDs with new ones and all the problems are gone. The keyboard is now working like its first day :) By the way I have to change the LEDs once more because today I had only red LEDs and I just used them to see if it helps solving those sound problems which it did!
Now I have to wait for my blue LEDs which are on their way to me. As soon as I receive them, I will replace them and I screw back the whole thing and I have my keyboard recovered back :)

Hi Olivier, Yes actually if you read the description of this video, you will see that I have already explained where my mistake was. I also changed all my LEDs on the left panel with white ones. So far it is ok but even if they get damaged again, I have already ordered the LEDs with integrated resistors. Unfortunately, the color is limited to Red, Yellow, and Green to such LEDs but it is at it is. I ordered Red ones and once my white ones get damaged, then I will replace them with these Red ones. I appreciate your time to watch my video anyway.

I need help pls i buy pax2 pro and when i start up is just like your problem with sound but to me isnt working anything and my version of os is 2.01. But my led are working i dont now what to do
Could you please explain your problem more in details? After startup you have the sound on right-hand side (upper) right?
Its just like your problem but nothing comes out no rhythm and keyboard dosent work but i have os 2.01 beacuse i buy today and it work good to owner where i buy it but now no

are you sure that you have connected the output to a loudspeaker correctly? Check your volume bars as well. If everything is setup correctly but still no sound, just try to change the styles on the left side. Maybe the currently selected style had and error.
Someone is selling this same model at $400 , everything thing is workings perfectly. But some of the led lights are not working. It is a major issue. Should i buy or drop the plan. The keyboard is much used ,

Hi $400 bucks is not a bad prise for a PA2X but it depends on you. Are you able to solder LEDs? The fact that the LEDs are broken will not affect the whole functionality of the device but they are just there as indicator of the current status. There was a general Problem with PA2X and broken LEDs. I personally replaced them with white ones and it worked fine till I sold it. What happened next, I don't know. The PA2X is powerful but a bit outdated. I currently have a PA4X and a Kronos. I paid at least 2200 Euros for each one and I found really good used ones in Germany's online second hand market. They are both very much like new. You can see them both in my youtube channel videos. If you can invest more to get a PA4X, I would definaltely recommend that. But if you are not willing to invest that much and you can open the PA4X and replace (all) LEDs then feel free.

@@augustinenathan266 then pay attention if only LEDs are damaged and nothing else. You can put the device in test mode and test every thing in this mode. Good luck.

@@augustinenathan266 I think the prodedure is to turn off, and then keep "Style Play" and "Media" pressed while you then turn the device on. You can reareach and experiment with that.
