    So great to see you again Christie! I didn't get stitchy stuff done, but I did crochet coasters for my friends new home while being with you! You give me so much joy listening to you, feel like we've been friends a along. I pray that you will be feeling much better and your 5th wheel will be perfect on Monday. Nice stitching project too 😊💚

    I totally agree with you. Life is crazy and unpredictable no matter where and how you live! We do live a house life, although we are quite minimalist in a lot of ways, which would be easier in an RV in some ways because you would run out of room!

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад

      Yes, we are going through that right now. After living in this one for 6 months it was time to purge and reorganize. You only have so much room and things start to get out of control. It's a good way to keep things in line! We are getting rid of so much again!

    I used to be very active last year and began to lose weight and gain muscle, but after I got sick it has been very difficult to get back into it. On top of that, my husband lost his job and all the organic and healthier foods we ate, we could no longer afford. I also deal with carpal tunnel and sciatic and noticed the pains coming back. I really need to start exercising and eating right again. Love seeing your progress on Pretty Little DC!!

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад +1

      +Lisa Robertson Isn't it so unfair that buying healthy foods is so much more expensive? We did a 2 week clean eating plan and it cost like $700 for two weeks, I was like... that is NOT gonna work! Sciatic is the worst, I have a little bit or carpal tunnel issues sometimes too especially with knitting. If you want any support I am here, I need to stick with healthy choices!

    Just starting watching your videos and I'm really enjoying them. We bought an A-liner a couple of years ago and really enjoy taking the kids camping. I have told him once the kids are grown I'd love to spend all our time traveling (though if we are spending that much time on the road we may need something bigger than an A-liner).

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад

      +Lenia Coates Is an A-liner the sort of hard sided triangle popup? Thank you so much and I'm glad you're enjoying the videos :-D

    • @lcoates75
      @lcoates75 8 лет назад +1

      +StitchOnWheels: A Crafty Traveler Yes...it's the ease of a pop-up but with hard sides. I love it because it sets up in no time and we pull it with the minivan. It has a small fridge and kitchen area. No bathroom but has a full size and twin size bed (though the kids usually sleep in a tent so it's not as claustrophobic). We love it and for now don't need anything bigger.

    It was great getting to stitch with you again. I'm still working on The Lord Is My Shepherd, I've moved on to the second big area now.
    I can relate to the frustration of not seeing the kind of results you expect with weight loss. I started exercising with a friend from work last February (2015) and changed my eating habits drastically. I cut out all dr. pepper. was drinking shakes and eating chicken and fish with low carb veggies. and at the 3 month mark I had lost 8 lbs. then I broke my ankle in April and was in a cast for 3 months. by the time I was ready to head back to the gym, my partner had joined another group to workout with. and I have a hard time self motivating when it comes to exercise. so I can empathize with you.
    Looking forward to your next video. So glad the RV is fixed. safe travels.

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад

      +Jessica Archer Sounds like you definitely can empathize! Some of our bodies just don't like to lose weight even when we do things right, it can be very discouraging. If you ever want someone to be accountability partners I am definitely available! So sorry that you broke your ankle.

    Got to love Michigan weather, I know i'm not. By the sounds you are just above Houghton Lake; there is a crafts store that is full of everything one can think of called Arnie's. I haven't been there is awhile, but I haven't been by Houghton Lake in awhile. If you want to check it out, I think you would enjoy the experience. Thanks for the company, and good luck with the RV.

      +Green Tigress Crafts Yeah I'm not a fan of weather in the midwest, but, there's a lot we want to see and do out here this summer! Thank you so much for the suggestion, but we left this morning! In our RV! :) Heading to the west side of Michigan now!

    It's so frustrating when the dealership says they've fixed something and you have to go back again because it's not fixed. We've been there! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time you'll be good to go. My hubby ordered the pinecone kit that Calico bought for you and I've gotten a good bit of it done yesterday and today. Working with those little beads slows you down but once you get into a rhythm it's not too bad. I'm looking forward to your organization video.

      +Tonya Turpin That's awesome! I haven't started any of the little kits yet... one of these days! I really hope it's fixed this time, too... we will find out tomorrow!

    I pulled out a little project I'm doing as a gift for a friend and stitched along with you! In a way, it's much easier to stitch along with you than it is with other floss tube videos because I'm not having to look up at the screen every minute to see something else. Like others have said, I felt like I had company stitching with me.

      +Shelley Sykes oh I never even thought of that but you're right... If you're looking at projects and such I would imagine that's a little harder. Thank you!!

    Personally, I think it's great that you're taking some 'girly' time for yourself, as much as we can love being with our spouse or partner it's sometimes nice to have a bit of personal time. Your current WIP is coming along nicely. ☺

    It was fab to finish the back stitch on one more Christmas card while listening to you, also have to ask you, where did you find your gorgeous bags?

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад

      +Emma Swartz hi Emma! How wonderful that you got something accomplished with my video, that is great to hear! The bags are by chicken boots, at chickenbootsusa.com 😁I went into them in detail, I believe in my 2nd stitch with me video if you'd like to see them better!

    Thank you for the video! Have you ever thought about getting a fitbit (or similar device)? I got one a couple years ago and LOVE it. It's a great way to remind me to get moving on days when I would rather stitch all day LOL. I'm sure it's hard to move a lot with your traveling and foot problems, but it might be something that gives you a way to check your progress/movement. It also has a water tracker and food tracker and a bunch of other features. I'm late watching this video so I hope you're out on the road again now!

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад +1

      +Jackie F thanks!! I have had one before but tire of it quickly. Some days I can move a lot and some days not so much. If I try to push it on those bad days I just hurt myself. I did that a couple weeks ago and my hip is still killing me. So yeah I just have to do what I can when I can :) I appreciate the suggestion though! I feel like things are moving in a positive direction!

    Watched one of your more recent videos & decided to subscribe. I've went back to the beginning of your videos to watch in order. I too had gastric bypass surgery (RNY) in 2010. I was able to get down to 152. Worked out during the week & took off on the weekends. Work got crazy with mandatory overtime & just didn't have time to work out. Now, I'm in a size 18 :( I refuse to get on the scales cause I know it's going to be bad. Really enjoying your videos. Love that you stitch while talking to us. It's like sitting together in the living room or kitchen together & just chatting LOL Although it's one sided.

    Enjoyed your video, and subscribed.
    I'm interested to hear your designing 'problem'. I'm also considering designing some charts and have run into the exact same problem! I know photoshop, I HAVE photoshop - I can even see how to do the symbols, but it doesn't help associate those symbols with colours. For actual programs, I've tried the Winstitch (by ursula software) better than anything else Ive tried, but its expensive if you aren't going to make any money on your designs. So, yeah, I think I'll have to use Photoshop, at least for starting out. I'd be interested in what you settle on doing.

    • @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler
      @StitchOnWheelsACraftyTraveler  8 лет назад

      I tried MacStitch which is the Mac version of WinStitch but it makes no sense to me as I am not trying to convert a photo. I want to combine text and graphics and make cute designs and it just doesn't seem to work for that. So I am going to try to work through some tutorials with photoshop, or use graph paper, get it how I want it and then JUST make a chart in MacStitch, although I still don't know how to do that, either!
