Thank you for your effort of explaining this. Before your video I thought that supersaturated solution meant to just exceed the amount of the solute than can be dissolved in a solvent even when not all of it dissolves. It is clear now that supersaturated solution means that both the solute exceeds the capacity of the solvent to dissolve and that the amount of solute has to remain dissolved (so no undissolved solute at the bottom of the container). At least that's how it makes sense in my mind now :)
your videos are so much help. i have learning disabilities ( autism and ADHD ) and your videos have helped me so much. your type of slow paced teaching has helped me tremendously with various subjects. keep making more please!
You're amazing!!! You scaffold and explain concepts in a way that is concise, easy to follow, and at a comfortable pace for the learners. Your voice is nice to listen to. Thank you for sharing your talent with us and making a difference in our life!
Once you understand the concept of solubility a little bit I think it's a good idea to watch this video to know the difference between solubility and concentration. Knowing this already from past organic chemistry lab experiments, solubility tells us the most that we can dissolve per L or mL of solution at any given temperature. Personally I love this youtube channel because of the descriptive and helpful videos as well as PDF worksheets and exams that they provide to understand a topic better.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a basic understanding of Solubility versus Concentration in AP/General Chemistry. The explanation /definition of Solubility and Concentration is excellent; however, I found Concentration and Solubility practice problems confusing. I will rewatch this video and review/study practice problems. This is an error free video/lecture on RUclips TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
i am so confused right now, the way my teacher taught me how to calculate saturated, unsaturated and supersaturated solutions is using conversion factors using the solubility for each substance, but here, he is using another formula (the concentration formula) and i am completely lost now! :( can someone explain ?
Wouldn't the concentration of the solute not remain the same in the solution after the temperature change? I'm confused based off a test I took that said the opposite of this example.
concentration of the solute in the vessel is equal to the solubulity of the solvent, is this statment correct when describing what is meant by a saturated solution
Sir, I was given an assignment on how to experimentally determine supersaturated solution. Please help me out sir, I have to submit it this tomorrow 12am. I am in a premedical level .

You are such an excellent teacher! My go to for explanations of all chemistry concepts. Your explanations and examples just make sense!

I passed my GED using your videos for mathematics. And now , I am preparing for anatomy and physiology
Better explained than my teacher... Thanks!
God Bless you man!!!
you are really a blessing to mankind

This guy can build his own science and math school.
Thank you. Your videos are understandable and extremely helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have a deeper understanding now.
Sir, I am counting on you highly

Great learning from you sir.
HES SAVING MY GRADES
Why 3rd is not supersaturted solution?

ur just ddduia
it wouldn't because as temperature increases the solubility of the substance increases (except gases) so that concentration changes

Thanks a lot
Why is c saturated?
Thanks

why is part c saturated?
Thank you
