Jesus has always been by my side. He never left me despite all brokenness and disobedience. He had my back when no one else did. He’s perfect. I cry every time I hear this song. Something about the lyrics and the song touches my heart in a way that only Jesus can. I was saved only a year and a half ago and have since begun attending Hillsong church. That church saved me and family and I am so glad that I have Jesus in my life and in my soul and that my parents aren't broken anymore. Songs like this save and I truly believe that. If you are lost and broken and angry, CRY OUT TO JESUS! JESUS LOVES YOU AND HE WONT LET YOU GO, NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. HE DIED SO THAT YOU MAY BE SAVED.
It was a dream.. I was in a huge green pasture with beautiful rolling hills just walking around with a lot of dirty people and we were all praying for each other. As we're praying a loud voice started signing so we all joined in on the song that I have personally never heard before. The only way I can describe it was several massive golden bars floating in the sky glistening like beautiful diamonds.. We were all crying because Jesus was giving us a sign they he is near and not to worry about the constant chaos in the world today. Then I instantly woke up and realized I was listening to Hillsong United on my ear buds. The most bizarre part of the dream was that I've never heard that Sony before and the fact that the man tapped on my shoulder right before the specific verse about lifting up your eyes and notice that Heaven is closer than you know is just nothing short of a vision from God himself. :) Numbers 12:6 “When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.

And I love how that Jesus never condemns us, even though having gone through ALL THESE THINGS for us, we still sometimes neglect Him. Actually, Jesus never condemns us BECAUSE He went through all these things for us. It's crazy and my mind fails to understand the magnitude of His great kindness -but my spirit KNOWS. I know that I can never boast of my love for the Lord, but His love for me is as unmoving as the mountains. What a God!

I have been struggling a lot to overcome some fleshly desires and immoralities but this moment I pray that I will not go back to my old sinful ways and I believe that I can make it as I am closer to Him the mighty savior. I was working as a carer in the community last autumn, and I can't drive. I was having to walk in the pouring rain from one client to another. I felt lost, struggling with the fact that I hardly got any hours resulting in about a £400 income a month. We were living with my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband, not being able to afford our own place. I was just sad, full of negative experiences from my previous job where I was supporting autistic young men and one of them attacked me. And then I just kept listening to this album while walking from one older lady to another when I realised: Jesus is closer than I know I'm just being blinded by self-pity and I'm worrying instead of handing over my problems to my Saviour. There and than this song really hit home and I just kept crying under a tree with yellow leaves, but felt eternally grateful. We have now moved out, both my husband and I have full time jobs and we're very happy and blessed. :) God is good!

This has such a strong message. Keeping your eyes on Him. He will lead us home. No sin, shame or guilt will follow us to our eternal home. His love surpasses all earthly things. We breath because he breathes. He gives us life everyday. It is not our right but that gift from God.

Broken - wasted away and tired of life. Tired of being sick and alone. I tried the world and I tried to save myself, I walked away from God in my teens and since then my world blurred into misery and failures. I can hear my faith speaking too me more within the last few months - I feel God is pulling me back home to him. Weakened by sickness, I look up to God and say "You are the only one left who can save me now" Don't think this will be easy, but if I can just stand with faith - maybe I can see God and find family - to have a wife who will love me and a family God will bring me, to see his works in my life. The world can no longer save me - I need Christ more than ever now.

When it says "Lord I hear you I know you're there" It's like my constant prayer when I'm alone and when I'm desperate or even when I find time to speak to him I just feel like He is indeed very close and breathing deep within me. I was married in that temple (St George, UT), July 1, 2004. That makes this song so much more meaningful to me. I've needed Jesus throughout my life and need Jesus now more than ever. I may have ruined my marriage but charity never faileth and in that light Christ truly is closer than we could ever possibly know. I know Christ can heal all things.

The CE/DVD is worship unleashed! I bought it from Amazon and just worshipped for over an hour watching the DVD. This song was in such a beautiful setting enhanced by some very talented artists wanting it to be like a moment from heaven!

I have battled depression and anxiety for years after being raped as a child. I have always wanted to be accepted for me, loved for who I am. And I tell you the level of wisdom and deep understanding of God through their songs is overwhelming. The level of which God has taken them to showing them the secrets of His kingdom is nothing I have ever heard sung before. The anointing it brings year after year is increasing and overflowing to the point my heart swells up and its dancing in the presence of God everytime I listen Empire and Open Heavens. I have been struggling a lot to overcome some fleshly desires and immoralities but this moment I pray that I will not go back to my old sinful ways and I believe that I can make it as I am closer to Him the mighty savior. I was working as a carer in the community last autumn, and I can't drive. I was having to walk in the pouring rain from one client to another. I felt lost, struggling with the fact that I hardly got any hours resulting in about a £400 income a month. We were living with my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband, not being able to afford our own place. I was just sad, full of negative experiences from my previous job where I was supporting autistic young men and one of them attacked me. And then I just kept listening to this album while walking from one older lady to another when I realised: Jesus is closer than I know I'm just being blinded by self-pity and I'm worrying instead of handing over my problems to my Saviour. There and than this song really hit home and I just kept crying under a tree with yellow leaves, but felt eternally grateful.
We have now moved out, both my husband and I have full time jobs and we're very happy and blessed. :) God is good!

I tried the world and I tried to save myself, I walked away from God in my teens and since then my world blurred into misery and failures. I can hear my faith speaking too me more within the last few months - I feel God is pulling me back home to him. Weakened by sickness, I look up to God and say "You are the only one left who can save me now" Don't think this will be easy, but if I can just stand with faith - maybe I can see God and find family - to have a wife who will love me and a family God will bring me, to see his works in my life. When it says "Lord I hear you I know you're there" It's like my constant prayer when I'm alone and when I'm desperate or even when I find time to speak to him I just feel like He is indeed very close and breathing deep within me.
