      I like Both Bands. However, now that I'm older, have more *seasoned* ears, you could say, I prefer MegaDave/deth over Metallica. Maybe Megadeth is an acquired taste, but much more often nowadays I like to listen to Megadeth CDs.
      Messages in lyrics are much more applicable, and songs are more concise(shorter) and to the point. Solos have been sustained through the years, and I see are the soul of Megadeth. Even becoming more commercial, softer, or *toned down* at times, >> Megadeth has never completely lost it's creativity or connective sound through lyrical or musical messaging.
