Mr. TST, we stayed at the Bay Club about 4 years ago with bonus points. It was our first time in a two bed unit. We were blown away at the size of the rooms! Might you know if they were once apartments?
We'd go back in a heart beat but for now we enjoy the atmosphere of Ouahu.
Big Island is great if you want major quiet nights!

I love the Bay Club... I think it was always a timeshare... I do think there are some units that are owned prior to Hilton and Hilton honors those agreements... I don't think anyone owns a unit and rents it out, but I could be wrong.

@@timesharetraveler interesting info. We just thought the rooms too good to be true....BUT...it was our first venture into HGV.
      Much appreciated sir!

If you ever get the two bedroom plus units, they are probably about 300 square feet bigger. Amazing.

Can you stay in bay club and use Kings Land swimming pool?

Yes. But i believe you have to have a certain level of status to use Kingsland pools

Have you stayed 4 nights at HGV in Hawaii, then switched to Wyndham on the weekends, with hotel points? That's how we're planning to tackle it, even on a 5 night vacation, we could do 3 HGV and 2 Wyndham.

I have stayed at both. But never as you have described. I am using Wyndham reward points for four days before going to another timeshare. The whyndham reward points usually are within 6 month whereas the hgv points are within 9 months. You might have to have a hotel as a backup for the weekend.

@@timesharetraveler Yeah, I see that the timeshares in Waikiki are unavailable after 6 months, as you describe. Good thing we book refundable hotels.
