This is the way! Have done the same to my V2 VFC MP5. I´ve also changed most of the internals of the trigger pack to RS parts + rear sight + charging handle + A3 stock are also now RS at my MP5. Changed also the front sight, bolt and outer barrel to a steel one. I´m pretty happy with the final product.
Hey! That's fantastic! :D I was wondering if the trigger pack and trigger parts fit. Drop-in or were some mods needed? Is there a big difference in the A3 stock, RS and VFC? I know VFC isn't steel...does it feel different with the RS stock? Thanks for sharing the info! :) btw...i'm gonna go for a steel outer barrel as well in the near future :)
@@talesofgear Regards the trigger pack parts. Hammer, guide rod, and trigger just fits right in, no modifications needed. The A3 RS stock feels way more sturdy than the VFC one. It isn't a must have upgrade, but I had the chance to get it cheap, so I've decided why Not?! 😊 The steel front sight from crusader needs some tape modifications, so it won't wobble anymore. Nothing fancy. Best Regards Chris
@@eltadashi1 Awesome! Thanks for sharing the info. I'll keep the trigger group stock for now, wanna see how much it can take. As for the stock- dope! if i ever have the chance to get the real A3 stock for a good price i would go for it...seeing for how much these go nowadays- perhaps not gonna happen any time soon :P but good to know it's a good investment :)
Yes that wobble is normal on all HK legacy guns like the G3 / 91 and on my HK 93 and my MP5A3N. Most operators use it as a thumb rest if they are concerned about it "rattling" but the sound is negligible. It's a gun, it's not going to be quiet even if it's an SD.
Its been 5 years since I fired a real MP5A4, but I remember the cocking handle being bit wobbly. Anyways, on my VFC MP5 I opted for the wetech mp5 cocking support since it's steel and cheaper, and a drop in but with a slight modification to the cocking handle pin so it can go into the hole.
Hi! Yes, the idea is to mushroom out the top of the pin. Simply hold it with pliers, put its bottom on a flat surface, like a wise and then hammer on the top. Don't hit too hard at first till you get the feeling on the hardness of the pin...you don't want to make it too wide on the top...if you have access to a M4 roll pin, that would be the best...i have ordered some few hours ago XD good luck! :)
Why does my VFC MP5A5 GBB V2 sometimes fire more than three rounds when using the three-round burst mode? Sometimes it even becomes full auto? Hope you can answer me. 🙏
Sorry to hear about the troubles. Wish i could tell you exactly what the problem is. I'm still learning about this platform. Hope someone with more knowledge will reply to you. I can only suggest that you try to google about the problem. I'm sure you will find something that can help you. Good luck :)
You get firearm references from Facebook and reddit 🤣 about class 3 firearms most people don't even understand 🙄 No. The weak spot on the HK legacy platform is the extractor and its spring.
You got it wrong...it's not about the real MP5 here...that's an airsoft GBBR i have and i'm talking about the weak spot of this airsoft platform, not the real thing. ;)
My VFC MP5 cocking tube just broke and this video is exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Happy to hear the video will help :)
@@talesofgear I finally got the part and installed it in less than 15 minutes :)

Thank you for the info! :D
Does this help the sound or performance at all? Or is this just for durability? Awesome channel!
Hi! Firstly for durability. Secondly sound, looks and the fact you have a real mp5 part installed. And thank you, glad you like te content😁👍

Hi! Thanks for sharing this info. Good to know that some of the WE parts are an option too :)
Do you also apply oil to the inside of the charging handle or cocking tube?
Yes i do. Just a few drops is enough ☺️👍
is that the cocking tube is order from hk part us? do they direct ship the part to uk?
Hi! Yes, that's the part. I don't know if they ship to UK. Try to contact them. Good luck! :)
hello, can you see if there is a hole where the stock guide goes that can be seen inside?
Hi! I'm sorry, but i'm not sure i understand where to look...can you explain a bit more in detail? :)
When you mention hammering the pin so that it fits into the real steel version, do you mean just hammering on it straight down?
